You need to have just as much faith to believe there is no God than someone who believes there is a God. For an atheist to say there is no God is certainly a belief, as they are making this statement in absence of any absolute proof. There is absolutely 0 scientific proof that you can get "something from nothing". It is impossible. If someone asks, "so you're okay with God coming from nothing, but the universe can't come from nothing??" - we say to ourselves "Amantu Billah", and explain that the natural laws of physics do not allow anything, let alone the universe, to come from nothing - but The Creator is SUPERnatural and therefore not bound to the laws of physics that the universe is bound to. "There is no painting without the painter". La ilaha illallah. Asalam aleikoum brothers and sisters.

That question around before the 7th min, he says you won't believe if i flapped my wings coming here but would believe i flew on a plane here because he says it is the natural realm and common sense. Well, our capacity is always expanding. An arab in the desert 1400 years ago would also never believe you when you told him about the telephone, but that telephones are infact a fact. Hence our 'realm' of understanding is always increasing. Hence this is a very weak argument in connecting this to proving there is no God.

This is the problem with basing an argument entirely on empirical evidence. Just because something is unfathomable to the atheist, that doesn't disprove its existence or possibility of existing in the future. I was disappointed by that "professor". Brother Hijab destroyed his arguments.

Alhamdulillah, this was a much "friendlier" debate than the David Wood one, but hard knock-out punches (intellectual ones) were still thrown. Excellent respect and strong argumentation by both parties, though if I had to choose a "winner", I'm still convinced there is an uncaused first cause.

Say, "The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner." (51) *And is it not sufficient for them that We revealed to you the Book which is recited to them?* Indeed in that is a mercy and reminder for a people who believe. those signs - as the mofasseron said- are miracles . *yes indeed our lord .. the Qu'ran is enough for us .*
