This was really informative, thanks. I just wanted to clarify whether you were taking 4-5 k a month after taxes. How do you go from a 160k base salary to 5k a month after taxes?
@CAALifestyle2 жыл бұрын
My base salary isn't 160k, but for my take home I live in a no-state tax state and I can pick up overtime to bring home more.

@@CAALifestyle Thank you. Can one expect a starting base salary around 160k as an anesthesiologist assistant, or does one have to work their way up to get close to that?

@@hussman1646 kzbin.info/www/bejne/hIOTXoCYeb15m8U This is my video on job security but 150k was listed as the current STARTING average by the national CAA organization :)

Very informative video! I am currently on the pre-PA route and am considering CAA. What made you switch? Are you satisfied with your choice? I'm very conflicted. I want to know which will be more fulfilling overall in the long run.

Are there any employers who offer tuition reimbursement programs? What was your sign on bonus?
@CAALifestyle2 жыл бұрын
There are loan repayment bonuses offered, I have a salary video where I cover bonuses and some of the ranges: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKaqnHWtmspprpo

Would you recommend getting an associates in Anesthesia Tech as a stepping stone for the AA program?
@CAALifestyle2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say it's a necessary step, the information could be valuable, but I would focus on completing the pre-reqs and healthcare experience.
@hunterweidner77482 жыл бұрын
@@CAALifestyle okay thanks for the reply! I’m currently in a Surg Tech program but have been a floor tech for about 8 years now and plan on getting my BSN after finishing this program. I just wasn’t sure if switching to the Anesthesia Tech would help more towards getting my masters in AA
