Why couldn’t they have this level of Salem sarcasm in the cartoon when it’s literally the same guy providing his voice? Animated Salem was still selfish and not above using Sabrina for his own ends. However cause it was a cartoon for little kids he learns his lesson way too fast and cares about Sabrina more than he should.

The movie Bartok (fake sequel to Anastasia the lost Russian princess) has an evil care taker to the current prince (idk who the mom is because it’s not Anya’s brother or dad.) she literally steals a potion made by Baba Yaga & turns into a purplish pink dragon. That dramatic behavior of hers is being reflected on Sabrina at the moment. Tiny pet character fighting angry adult woman.

This is the only time he ever dished out "Abuse", but he has been on the receiving end of it throughout the entire series right from the start. Yes, he no doubt wanted to slap her for the longest, but this would be the only time he ever did it. And it is wholly justified, and long time coming.

To be fair to Sabrina, Salem is only a cat because he tried to take over the world, and being stuck as a witch's familiar is his "probation" more or less. If nothing else, the light ribbing he gets from Sabrina and her aunts is entirely justified. @@TheNotverysocial
