It seems that Profit is what matters at the end and budget going to Marketing efforts around Agentforce. At least STOP calling it 'Ohana' :D .

Absolutely, profit is always the bottom line-no company is truly immune to that, no matter how much they preach values like 'Ohana.' At the end of the day, when budgets tighten, businesses will prioritize efficiency and ROI over feel-good messaging. That’s why it’s so important for employees to stay adaptable and continue proving their value. If you’re not growing your skill set or making yourself indispensable, you’re at risk when cost-cutting decisions come around. 'Ohana' might sound nice in marketing materials, but at the end of the day, Salesforce is a business, not a charity. Expecting a company to cater to every employee’s wants and desires rather than making tough financial decisions is just not realistic. Just remember, when a company like Salesforce provides great benefits-paying for gym memberships, free tea, coffee, snacks, health insurance, and competitive salaries in exchange for your time-take a moment to recognize the total cost of these perks on top of your salary, holiday pay, and other compensation. This is an investment in their staff, but like any investment, it has to make financial sense for the company. If revenue and profits dip, those investments are going to be reevaluated.

And just to add to that, the Portland office had a wine and beer tap in the canteen... and, well, that didn’t last long. Turns out, people were downing pints at 10 AM, so they had to take it away. Honestly, one of the worst decisions Salesforce ever made was opening an office in Portland, Oregon. If you want me to elaborate on that I can………….

I hear CEOs including Bennioff tout that "our people are our greatest asset" until they aren't. The leadership team at Salesforce collectively made $100m in competition in 2024. They seem to be the last to sacrifice anything. Know this, you are transactional to any company. Leadership does not give a shit about you so extract what you can which is exactly what the leadership team does
