I’m from Barbados, and I also hate the sun. Whenever I say I want to move to Ireland, people say I’d hate it because it’s dark and grey. And I say, that’s exactly why I’d love it. Sali, I think this is your best In The Bathroom yet! And not that the previous ones are not fabulous. Marian is so lovely and honest. I can identify with many of the things she said, I could write an A4 long commet, actually... God, I even have that pale Clarins shadow, and I'm def checking out those LRP pens! Sali, could you please write a column and explain a few phenomenons mentioned in the interview - the joy of looking at pretty eyeshadows even if you'll never use them, the desire to camp in beauty halls (I've suffered from this for over twenty years) and the need to gravitate towards those green crosses (tugging huffing husband and boys along). AMAZING!!! Thank you both!!!

hahaha @ the Green Cross of Hope (GCH?!) I just spent a week in France, and my poor husband and children despaired every time they saw the green cross, because they knew it meant another 20 minutes sitting inside a chemist, waiting for me to look at exactly the same products I'd looked at in the previous 20 chemists! The worst thing? When the lights have been turned off the GCH *stifles a sob* Another great video, Sali- thank you! x

Sali, I love Marian! She is so funny and uplifting.. I am just back from holiday where I bought two Dolce & Gabanna lipsticks. My friend was behind me when I bought them and she had to pick herself off the floor when she heard the price in total! Of course, I deserve both and one would not have been enough! I love a gorgeous lipstick and when you are in Italy, it would be wrong not to buy lipstick :-) x
