Just heard the horrible news that Wayne Swinny has passed...I used to listen to this song during high school on my way to work in a grain elevator before facing an exhausting day at work. I wouldn't trade those days for anything, and I have this band, in part, to thank for that. Thank you, Wayne for the melodic, dreamy riffs.
@jaymzhetfield6001 Жыл бұрын
Just heard as well. Was he the primary song writer?
@NeilTee Жыл бұрын
@@jaymzhetfield6001 He was. It was his riff. I used to mix these guys in Memphis at Newby's and got to know Paul and Wayne pretty well after Josie split. It's so underrated how much Wayne contributed to all these killer songs. Chris D did too, no way we can leave him out but Wayne was the OG with the Sabbath style.

I met these guys ar a stripclub I was working as a DJ at before anyone had heard of them. They were playing a show down the street. Their manager at the time paid me 40 bucks ( twice) to play this song off of their demo. When he asked me what I thought, I said "that song is going to be a hit". 3 months later they were using Your Disease for Top Plays on Sportscenter. The rest is History.
