I loved this song when it came out, and still do. It has a unique exciting sound. The organ actually sounds like they turned the volume up all the way, and it is technically not coping very well - there is discordant hum modulation. But like the famous faulty speaker in the US hit Rocket 88, it made the song.

Happy Birthday Normie Rowe born on February 1, 1947. He is an Australian singer and songwriter of pop music and an actor of theatre and soap opera, Who also became notable for his brief military service during the Vietnam conflict. Rowe's double-sided hit the A-side, a reworking of the Doris Day hit "Que Sera Sera" /with b-side a cover of Johnny Kidd & the Pirates "Shakin' All Over" was one of the most successful Australian singles of the 1960's. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normie_Rowe
