Sally Ride Elementary students make contact with astronaut aboard the International Space Station

"What just happened was the biggest day of my life!" This week, students at Sally Ride Elementary School achieved the extraordinary by making radio contact with NASA astronaut Commander Sunita Williams aboard the International Space Station!
As the only elementary school in Florida that had this opportunity, the students got to ask Commander Williams questions from thousands of miles away!
