you should make a cold brew concentrate! brew the cold brew with double the amount of coffee and then when you transfer it to the pitcher, add the same amount of water (or to your taste) to dilute it. you would get twice the amount of cold brew per batch!

Cold brew recs! We got a metal strainer insert that actually fits in the same size XL Mason jar you have and it’s amazing. You just put the coffee in the insert, put it in the jar, fill with water and leave it for 8-12 hours, then pull out the insert and pour from the jar. For beans, we have a local coffee roaster who sells whole beans in 5-10lb bags. We put a pound at a time into a jar on the counter and freeze the rest. I’d just recommend asking your local coffee shop if they roast on site and would sell in bulk.

hello sally darr! im a barista so i hope i can offer some wisdom! if you buy cold brew bags (reusable or disposable) you can probably steep a pretty good amount of cold brew in the big mason jar you bought! also, you could def use a blend of beans, so buy a cheaper bag of beans (aldi has some good coffee tbh) and use some of that with the stumptown beans to just kinda stretch it out, if that makes sense? hope this helps even a little bit 🫶 thank you for another killer vlog 🫡

Good luck with the hello kitty cup.. there’s a whole frenzy going on with those. I don’t love the silicone drying mat, it catches this buildup for me, I mean I just have to remember to wash the mat, but I like my fabric drying mat better, I just throw it in the laundry either way my towels every week, so I don’t worry about it being disgusting or growing anything.

If you’re ever up in Canton, GA, go to Alma Coffee! They sell their own beans that they grow in Honduras. Their cold brew roast is called Frio and you can have them do it in a more coarse grind ideal for cold brew. You can also order from them online.

I batch make about a gallon of coffee per week. This is what I do: 1. I like to use the magnum exotics coffee from costco, soooo good and huge bag (lasts me maybe 2 months) 2. With my pitcher from dollar tree lol, I add 2 cups of grounds and fill the rest with water and mix. Let sit over night (about 12-14 hours) 3. I got a reusable coffee filter from Publix, and this sits perfectly in my gallon sized drink dispenser with the little spout at the bottom. Pour coffee from pitcher through filter into dispenser. This fills the drink dispenser about 1/3 to 1/2 of way, so add about same amount of water into the dispenser to dilute the concentrate I live with my boyfriend, and this will last us on average a week. I leave the drink dispenser in the fridge, so I just pour it into straight into my cup in the morning! I'm living right outside of atlanta so I'm excited to see vlogs here!!

if no one else has mentioned an espresso machine replacement yet - try a moka pot!! i love using cafe bastillo espresso blend in mine, it makes the perfect two sh shots of espresso for a tiny kitchen tool!!

You should try the Peace Coffee Yeti Cold Brew blend. I get their extra course ground 5lb bags. You can also get it as whole bean if you prefer. And Kindle Unlimited rec I have is Spark of the Everflame. If you are into slowwwwwwwww burn.
