Great vid man them lures brilliant they are got one of Ryan here cavan last year and rod and lure got pulled of the boat in to the water I only put it down for a minute because my son got hooked so that was the end of all that 😂😂looking forward to the next vid👍

The worst. I was fishing a canal in Holland once and the lure snapped off and landed up on the road of a bridge beside us. Was just throwing the leg over the rail to go get it and a car drove over it. Heart breaking 😵

Great fishing Senan love those sliders have a lot of success on them. What rod and reel are you using with them. Like the look of that reel.

Thanks Damien! Ya the sliders are absolutely quality, really rate them highly! It’s my jerkbait rod which is a savage gear sg2 70-100gram and the reel is an okuma Serrano with yellow 60lb braid , the reel is cheap, I could do with upgrading it soon 😅👍

It’s really light! You could probably get a more solid reel tho for the money, I just like it because it’s light! The Abu pro max looks good for light stuff

Is that the sg2 baitcaster you're using there?

Ya that’s the sg2 jerk rod I think that one is 80-100 gram, it’s the finest 👌

What type of retrieve do u use with the salmo sliders?

Hi, I really like to work the slider using the reel with short aggressive half turns , and then slow retrieve mixed in between !
