Thanks, it was a fun day out there hit some pinks, and a coho in 10 alo g with a nice wild king, too bad it had that fin. Lol then finished with crab in 9.

Yeah, we saw some awesome wildlife. I was watching the whale for a minute before the light bulb went off. Perhaps I should turn on my camera.. when I did I only got the tail but better then nothing. 😆

Nice catches too bad about not getting the 3 limits. I was looking for my cameo (maybe 7:00?) 😂 Might want to try getting rid of the belly hook on the minnow and just running 2 out the back. 👍

How fast do you usually troll for them? First year fishing the sound and I’ve got a few kings this year down in MA13 this year but not sure how fast to troll for the coho and pinks.

Rather than focus on ground speed on the gps, I watch the cable angle. Try to keep it at a 45 or slightly further back when chasing the coho. For a number on speed though 3.5-4mph. Going against or with current will effect your speed dramatically thats why I watch my cable angle. Pinks use a pink hocchie if your trolling usually the top 25ft. I like to cast for them when I see them jumping with 1/4oz ball head jigs with a pink hoochie on it. Hope this info helps. Tight lines!
