I had a stylist do that for me too. She didn’t take a picture, but she allowed me to view it using a mirror and seeing it reflect from another mirror - if that makes sense. Me seeing with my own eyes (and already knowing my ends were FINISHED) made all the difference and I had no issue with her cutting those ends off my hair.

Awesome beautician! I loved how she explained the process of hair growth and the consequences of split ends to her niece. I had a beautician like this when I was younger and she didn't play with split ends. If she said they had to go, they had to go. Periodt. I just had my hair trimmed and the stylist took the time to explain why she had to cut so much of my hair off ( also to admonish me about waiting so long for trims). The stylist was accurate and it was vital that she informed the little girl. There's nothing worse than an obsession on length retention when the length is only defined by damaged parts of the hair. It was really off for the person behind the camera to make that statement only enhancing a very uneccesary response from the child. The stylist did a great job! My hat's off to you. This hairdresser is right...you have to trim often. I don't understand why some people want to hold on to damaged hair just because they are afraid of cutting it off. The more you cut the more it grows..

I adored this video from the beginning to the end. Most stylist would just talk to the parent and leave the parent to communicate with the child. I am so glad that this was not the case with this video. Great job! Knowledge is key (in my DJ Khalid voice)
