I had a stylist do that for me too. She didn’t take a picture, but she allowed me to view it using a mirror and seeing it reflect from another mirror - if that makes sense. Me seeing with my own eyes (and already knowing my ends were FINISHED) made all the difference and I had no issue with her cutting those ends off my hair.

Awesome beautician! I loved how she explained the process of hair growth and the consequences of split ends to her niece. I had a beautician like this when I was younger and she didn't play with split ends. If she said they had to go, they had to go. Periodt. The stylist was accurate and it was vital that she informed the little girl. There's nothing worse than an obsession on length retention when the length is only defined by damaged parts of the hair. It was really off for the person behind the camera to make that statement only enhancing a very uneccesary response from the child. The stylist did a great job! My hat's off to you.
