As a former Bronx Salsero, I fondly & tenderheartedly recall those days of Salsa in the Bronx, especially at Orchard Beach (Summer Salsa weekends); After Beach parties come as you are at Side Street, Tapestry, Mon Ami....I have since moved to Florida . I miss those days. I used to bowl with Bobby at Parkway Lanes (on Bronx River Ave & Story).

The famous Side Street ! I remember that venue well. My partner and I owned the Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki dealership right up the block on Blondel. Orchard Beach and then Side Street. Fantastic!!

Bobby sure had a hot band that night @ Side Street. Many yrs. later a bouncer named Paulie was killed by an 18 yr old teenager. It all happened during the holiday period probably New Years. There was even a 10K reward for the perp. Side Street was never the same after that.

Thanks brother Negrón ,right now I'm watching Bobby and his boys on action at Bronx Poe Park live back in 1994,every time i see it trust me it brings back memories and i cried just watching Bobby and company and is heartbreaking man because he was a multi instrument player and no none never gave him that recognition, he's resting and sleeping peacefully and his not physically with us but even after many years i remember him and he will be always in our hearts, we'll see again Bobby!!🙏😪
