The easiest way to get to the NPC battle is from the start of the area, run to the right until you enter into the mountain, then just head down and right. It takes less than a minute from the start.

Hey! No missable trophies if you don't include the 2 different choices that you have to make for the 2 ending trophies!

There are a lot of missable trophies in the sense that after beating the final boss, if you make your decision at the tree to climb or devour, you will automatically start in NG+.
