Crews have recovered the body of a 29-year-old woman who drowned while kayaking at Little Dell Reservoir.

The title says her body was found, they were just saying that during the search they found those items.

@Amazing_80 OK, why were they separated? Bears and other predators don't remove your belongings before they take you away. Incomplete story to say the least.

She probably was, life jackets can malfunction.

Correct. They only "malfunction" when not properly worn by user,@@mathearussell7179. 🤔 Therefore, user error.

@@mathearussell7179 -They can't malfunction. They're filled with floatation foam and are designed to keep your head above water, even if you're unconscious. The problem is, people don't like to wear them, even though it's the law. (This is why the law is in place in the US. - too many lives lost unnecessarily)

Im talking about the straps not the actual foam. Sometimes the buckles break and come apart
