Salt Marsh Moth caterpillar on arugula (not a recipe 🤣)

(CC) I am in a lot of gardening groups on Facebook and there have been a lot of sightings of this caterpillar, the salt marsh moth. Easily confused with the woolly bear caterpillar from a distance.

I believe you when you say it was giant! I found one last year that was so big, I didn't even see it at first 😅 Are you growing tomatoes? If not, maybe a neighbor has tomatoes growing nearby...
