Beautiful parade, Carol! So inspiring. Something I’ve wanted to mention a few times, Ceesie Smitt is indeed pronounced “kay-syuh” in Dutch. You’ve mentioned your nephew’s wife who is from Denmark who pronounces it differently. Since Ceesie was a Dutch girl, it means that she was from the Netherlands (Holland) and not Denmark so it makes sense that she wouldn’t pronounce it in the same way as different languages are spoken in these two countries. I hope my correction doesn’t come off as rude, I’ve just noticed you mention it a few times and thought I’d let you know! Congrats on a 100 videos. Here’s to 100 more!! 🎉

Congratulations on 100! You have given me so much pleasure over the years watching your creativity and productivity. I really think we need to start a "go fund me" so you can get those finishes framed. But now that I see how many you have...Oh Dear :). I guess I feel better about all my WIPS. I don't have to figure out how to pay for framing :). But truly 40 years of marriage...(we just passed that milestone this year). Phew! no small feat. Ok, about your Dutch sampler and Keesie Smit: I am Dutch, so not from Danmark but Holland/The Netherlands. So Keesie is a name for females which was often used in the old days. I’d love to see your smalls finishes! It’s so different seeing them stitched. A man I admired greatly was an anatomy professor. He had a wonderful, hilarious sense of humor. Upon pondering for several minutes as to which is my favorite, I have concluded my answer is All of Them! I wouldn’t be able to single one out. I’m starting to finish some of my smaller pieces into pillows for my pretty dough-bowl. With all my left over quilting fabric it’s easy, fast and cost effective. Hello from Pennsylvania. Yes, I hibernate in the winter and stitch. So here in the summer I go to my houseboat. My husband and I really enjoyed boating on our local lake. He however passed away 7 years ago but with good friends I still manage to go to the boat. I have been away for over a month due to a family illness but I am headed there in 3 days. I have 3 Halloween pieces and 1 Christmas piece to sit and stitch sitting on the front deck and enjoy the water. Have a good couple weeks.😊

I also bring my Michaels rejected 8 dollar frames to hobby lobby and they will frame for little money….and they have done a great job.
