People need to start waking up to what CIG are really doing: spending your money to make more money. If the ratio is going even 20% towards actual game development I'd be genuinely surprised. They have no data that shipping a game pays their bills. They have all the data that selling ships pay their bills. They will continue selling ships.

As far as i know it’s in polishing. It isn’t done there’s still tweaking that needs to be done so all devs haven’t exactly moved over, they’re more so slowly trickling over.

Yes.. Squadron AI came over to the PU. Not sure if they borrowed anything from the PU to stick in SQ42 or not.. but briefly I was seeing NPC's using the MicroTech tram... and I think I saw one enter an elevator. Not sure if that broke things... but I did see it. I remember thinking that the trams were very stable when at the platform without their usual twitching. No sooner did I have that thought then I saw an NPC get on a train. But I haven't seen it other than that one time though. lol

Didn't they already get on trains under ideal circumstances? I've seen NPCs get on (and back off) the train in Hurston in 3.22, which surprised me when I first saw it, but it happened a few times...

I’ve never seen an NPC get on a train or use an elevator. I’ve seen them standing on tables, walking around aimlessly, or simply not doing anything at all.

If people care enough I think I have video of one getting on the tram when I was just filming random cargo hauling gameplay, would have to figure out how to cut the video tho, since it's mostly uninteresting gameplay.

I don't think people realize what having the replication online means for back-end work. Before, if the servers started acting up they would just crash and cover up all the server tech debt that has been sitting around for years. Now that they just restore the state they have to actually go back in and solve a lot of these problems. We are talking years and years of bugs that only show up after the servers have been online for more than a few days.

Eh, lets agree to disagree. Much of their promised feature of last CitCon is in-game. Never have scrutinize any roadmap or updates, unless these content creators decided to. And so far, I'm quite satisfied. I would let them cook rather than rush them. And yeah, Play EVE. That is far better time spent for everyone involved. I haven't touched SC since ILW ended because there's no need to..but since this game is kinda the daily routine of the creators, they would feel the gap of nothing to do and it seeped into their judgement.
