The age-old tradition of angry gamers spiking their controllers into the ground in pure rage is still going strong!
Many controllers were broken in the making of this video.
This is one of my most requested videos of all time, and I put it off for a while in order to make other salt related videos, but I figured it was about time and was definitely due by now, so here you go!

and Nintendo. If you take the original gamecube controllers and the new ones, one is more durable, can you guess which? The old school ones. The new ones cannot take as much abuse which means they break easier and will need to be replaced. Due to how the players react (For really no good reason) Nintendo made a smart move make making the controller less durable. Game stores make money on people picking up new controllers, and Nintendo makes money by having more controllers ordered.

@Sam Ham competitive. Melee was the Smash on the Gamecube and the second game in the installment. Howver the Gamecube controller was far superior to the N64 controller. The wii had the third installment but the game itself did not work with motion controls and everything, so they had to offer another option. People still were hyped over Melee and since the wii could support GCB games and controllers, it seemed like a logical move. This was also the first time players had not, one, not two, but four options for controllers. Smash 4 offered the DS as a controller as well, but since players were so use to GCN, they wanted access to that. Which is where nintendo started making gamecube controllers again. now in the fifth generation, we have too many options. but Gamecube still gets the most use and thus Nintendo still makes them. (Albeit weaker material to cut down costs of making it while selling them for more) so it has to do with many players feeling as though the GCN controller is the superior. (But honestly, i like the switch joycons.)
