SparkGold Now as someone who despises Olimar, Im happy the little shit got nerfed, however one of his nerfs was a bit much. His hitbox size was increased but not his shield size. Hes easier to hit but Olimar literally cannot block overhead attacks with the universally safe option. Im all for his other options being weaker, im all for olimar being easier to hit, but him not being able to even block safely is a bit much.

It’s good for punishes, but it’s terrible for neutral, as when it hits shield, it puts Charizard in a state where you hit the ground in a way you can’t tech, so it’s pretty much a free punish. Especially in Sm4sh, where jab-locking properly gave massive punishes. Ultimate’s nerfed jab lock still gives it punishes, albeit a lot less compared to Sm4sh. @@LeviathanRX Honestly, I think this is why I like Brawl more. Subspace Emissary gave players like me something to enjoy, and not have to deal with "try hard" situations like what Spirit Mode has. It was more a classic beat em up game, that was really fun. Smash Ultimate comes out and it feels mainly focused on PVP, and its "single player" is just a bunch of rehashed fights with "special stat" version of the characters and maybe a random boss fight here and there. Its disgusting what the IP has become.

More like MVD decided to keep shielding a move that is safe on shield and that he can literally beat with a jab, tilt or any aerial instead, misses 2 roll punishes that he could've gotten(one because of greedily going for an up-tilt instead of a dash attack), then runs straight into one of the smallest smash attacks in the game. Dabuz played like a quickplay scrub and it's on MVD that he couldn't deal with it. He was clearly frustrated already, affecting his decision-making.
