Yes, I'd like to see some more grouper fishing WITH you & friends sharing recipes as you clean and cook the grouper caught. QUESTION: I need to find a saltwater rod to best fit my "Penn Battle II 3000 Spinning Reel" for using artificial goofy-jig lures to fish for Pompano. Because my small vehicle won't accommodate the one-piece 7.0 foot Spinning Rod without it staying in a curved position on a long trip, what two-piece Spinning Rod choices would you recommend for balance? I would imagine that my just slightly cracking the back passenger side window to accommodate the one-piece Spinning Rod would work, except I'm concerned that the air movement & vibration might really scratch up the rod surface against the window frame. What do you recommend? Thanks!

Check out st.croix triumph medium 6-12lb class! They do come in a two piece! Also Shimano slx 7ft medium 6-12lb they come in 2 piece as well. They’re also lightweight, good for throwing artificial lures and jigging

What size hooks do you find are the best for catching the pins?
@Thonny3 жыл бұрын
I find size 6 Mustad Gold Hooks work best. Anything smaller than that just makes it hard to dehook sometimes. But with size 6 it's easier and it's not too big for them.

Are you casting out at a rock piles. Or around the pilings?? I never tried this sky way fishing. Looks fun
@comfortablynumb93423 жыл бұрын
You can do both there. There are piles of cement bridge debris from when the old bridge was turned into the pier. And I think there are reef balls made of cement too. And of course the pilings have fish too.
