I love this music video so much! I am an iraq war vet, and i have PTSD and anxiety from my time, but this makes me so happy for my family and friend support. It is so f*cking sad that so many vets arent taken care of and end up on the street. We need to do more.

DONATE AND VOLUNTEER, it's all we ask! The government doesn't give a fuck about us. We're disposable assets. That's how the government looks at us.

At the end the guy said to the homeless guy, “You know me. You saved my life brutha” That’s the biggest part that gets me right there. This is deep!

He actually says Jacoby. If you reference back to the beginning, you see his name plate on his uniform as Jacoby. Same message though. Very powerful and gets me every time.

I found out today that I did not qualify for employment assistance because I live more than 50 miles away from a VA facility. I gave a large part of my skull for my Country, it shouldn’t be this hard.

I meet at people all the time at the VA when I take my father that drive hours. They’re not giving employment services?!?!?! What the hell is wrong with them? Thank you for your sacrifice. I know that doesn’t make anything better but I will remember what you gave until time takes away my memories.

On my wall sits a calendar, on that calendar is a bunch of dates with little more than a name and a rank that would mean nothing to anyone else but me. Those are my brothers I would give anything to trade places with. When those days come I always find my self watching these reaction videos. If for nothing else, I am forever thankful to Five Finger Death Punch for making it so I am less alone on those days.

One thing to keep in mind is that these statistics shown in the video are from 7 years ago. I haven't looked into the current numbers but unfortunately I'm sure some if not most have gotten worse. I would hope that's not the case but it wouldn't surprise me.

I watched one reaction video and they said the number of homeless veterans is up to 600,000 now.

I'm a Viet Nam Vet and fall under the old G.I. Bill. Yes, there are benefits provided by the V.A., but they aren't near as much as you seem to think. We have to pay a co-pay for medication and treatment, depending on your class of discharge and how much money you make. There are long wait times for some types of medical treatment. God as a she represents his wife, girlfriend, mother, sister, and she's ashamed of what he has become and what he has done. Since others see him as the Devil, he has come to see himself that way when he looks in the mirror. Those were not "military" tattoos, they were "unit" tattoos, meaning they had served in the same unit though maybe at different times. You did not recognize the two guys at the end, they were the ones wounded. The black dude is saying "Bill, Bill, it's me Jacoby. You saved my life brother. I's O.K., It's O.K.".

Regardless of what branch of military therein usually the members of the same platoon will get a group tattoo so the fact that they had the same tattoo meant that they were in the same platoon even if they were in the same group

There's 3 different things going on: music, words on the screen, and the video. You only get one "reaction". It's a lot to take in when you have never seen the video. Maybe he watched it several times afterwards to soak it all in. This came out 8 years ago. The stats have changed. Be mad they got worse.

@@Iamwoman27 When he is constantly bobbing and shaking his head to the music it is impossible for his eyes and brain to take in what is happening in the video. After all, it is a video, not just a track off an album.

Do you really think that a soldier does it for the money? Their is no greater service than to die for what you love. i wouldn't die for money, doesn't matter how many 0s you put on it. But I would die for my country, my family. In Sparta no one was allowed a headstone (not even the king) except (1 - a woman who died giving birth or (2 - a man who died in battle for the country. " Freedom isn't free. The cost is blood."
