@@mosasauruss77 , only intelligent minds with a sense of futurism would attempt it. At ITT Tech, in my math class, they even broke down the definition of the painting mathematically. Dali was a bit modest by calling himself a not too good a painter though. But, what's wrong with being modest?

The greatest painter. His early work was copy art, trying to find a voice. Midway he found it, and there were a few unparalleled master works. Later his work was a ghost of the past. There is something inspiring and real about the vitality of youth and effort he put into his vision which unfortunately faded.

@@hellodumplings8564 I'm well aware of the "fake" forgeries throughout the years when Dali was alive, yet it goes to show that only a truly great painter can be the catalyst for such fakery. Who would forge a copy of a poor artist's style? I am an art school graduate and life-long artist and recognize the difficulty of becoming a genuine "original" like Salvador Dali. His talent should still be recognized regardless of the history of deceit surrounding some latter day events.

@@hellodumplings8564 I think you have fallen for the idea that Dali never painted anything. A shame.
@1..0w0..34 жыл бұрын
@@hellodumplings8564 If you'd seen a video of Dali talking about his work, you'd understand how, only Dali's mind was capable of creating everything he did. It really leaves no second thoughts to whether it's his own works or not. The way he portrays things in his works, that isn't something which a variety of painters could accomplish. Cuz if that were the case, then one could at least think of whom he could've stolen the ideas/art works from. Which he didn't, cuz there is none like him.

What happened to him in 1924 and 1925?!! He must of experienced something major because the worked changed into what we know Dali to be: what did he feel, absorb, take or borrow from that year or two that transitioned his entire style and view at that moment. Fascinating to watch it all reveal itself over time. Incredible job with these videos.

My favorite artist. I am a Surrealist from High School. But, when I was off working a job in California in 1985 nearly all of my art was destroyed by family members that I guess thought I wasn't coming back. They said dogs or cats had been into it and defecated on it, I don't know. I believe if I could pull myself together long enough, and out of survival mode I could perhaps redo them from memory.
