Salvage Freight Wiper Blades

Hoq long can wiper blades stay in their containers before use? Do they dry out or end up useless in a couple of years? Or will they last as long when they sit for a long time?

Nothing lasts forever; however, you enhance longevity if stored out of sun rays. I'm going to sell them on eBay.
