Rare £20,000 Range Rover Classic LSE Soft Dash PT 12

In this video we make lots of progress on the rare Range Rover Classic LSE soft dash project.
Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, Reconditioning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig Dozer frame machine.

We do receive quite a few questions regarding tools and equipment that we use for various jobs. Unfortunately there is too many to list but some of the brands we use include Snap-on, Blue-point, Makita, Sealey, Clark, Esab and Sykes-Pickavant.

I have an old school m8 Called Chris (I'm nearly 50 now) that visits me on a Saturday night whilst his missus watches the usual cack that women like to watch on the TV. He like's to watch your videos whilst he is here (he has no internet, he's not internet savvy at all) one of the first things he say is "has our m8's done any more on the Range Rover yet?" I'll say no but they are doing a few vans, he say's "Stick it on then" """Click""" I often watch your vids twice but I don't mind as I enjoy them greatly, I'm sure Chris will enjoy this vid.

It's been a huge mission, as most Classics are, but it's really going to be something special when it's finished. Fantastic, Rob and Chris. Everyone who buys a classic car and sees a little rust and thinks that doesn’t look bad, i can repair that on my path are suddenly shocked by the existent of the corrosion when they start removing parts to access that small repair. It quickly becomes a money pit and you suddenly realise what a gaffe you may have made. Rob it may be a little thought for a video explaining to novice classic car enthusiasts to be careful buying something they think looks great at 10 feet away, when in reality it may be a total rot box. I remember fitting a windscreen in on that year Range Rover back in the day. Auto windscreens sent me mobile on my own thinking it was a nice little rubber fitting screen, only to discover it was bonded and different from the rest. I had to half strip the car down to get to the heated connections. I had to get help to take the bonnet off and remove the scuttle. Still remember the job 20 odd years later 😂, horrible customer too 🤣.

Wide awake at 3.00am after knee replacement surgery at my local hospital. Nothing on telly, too tired to read but what cheers me up? The irrepressible Rob and his cracking KZbin channel. Worked my way through back catalogue. Wonderful. Made an old man happy again. Brings back so many memories of the hours of fun I used to have in my garage tinkering and sometimes restoring classics. Did a few MGA and MGB,s. Now I can’t even fit in them as I no longer bend in the middle. Happy days though. Keep up the good work and don’t stop ever stop the “waffling”!!!!!

Checking valuation guides on renovated 1994 LSE 4.2 LPG they have a retail range of £35k to £48k so your friend will have a valuable asset. Noted the earlier 2 door classics are now selling restored for £80k to £130k so definitely these are appreciating classics.
