I love the LSE. I knew that the Brooklands edition had every thing but I didn't know that it had a fitted sink!
@anthonyraybould56933 жыл бұрын
I thought the same lol
@jimschafer91963 жыл бұрын
Yes I spotted the sink too.
@trainman6653 жыл бұрын
Brooklands edition is a different vehicle. Limited to 150 units in 1992 and painted brooklands green (they were all standard wheelbase and had cloth interior). This just has the Brooklands style body kit which came standard on this era LSE. Freshens up the look a bit in my opinion (but I’m biased as my car has them too 😂)
@exileinderby513 жыл бұрын
@@trainman665 Subtle flex there and I stand corrected! Just a tongue in cheek remark when I saw the sink in the container. I hope you enjoy your Range Rover.

Rob, when you and Chris finish the LSE it's going to one of the best restorations seen. When all complete and you come to the selling part, the video evidence showing the attention to detail, workmanship, structured approach to the project, et al, I reckon will be worth a lot money.
@richardjones52553 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is a long term video series, but it has to be very much a sideline project for all the reasons that you set out. Those less exciting projects are paying for this one. Once done, it pays for other projects yet to come, that is how a business works. Unless you have a private, personal money tree, cash has to keep flowing through the books. The progress work, looks great. It is always amazing, whatever the project, the stuff stripped out takes four times the space when installed.

What a build!!!! Until 18 months ago I was a show car painter at jlr svo. Although I only worked on models what were due to come out and nothing this old we actually done things the way you are with this.... People scratch their heads when they don’t know why things only get half painted to go back but the way your doing things with this project are spot on. Really impressed with this build and some of the projects you guys are doing at the mo from the salvage down to the viva.👍👍👍👍

I'm so looking forward to seeing more of this build Rob, as you can gather I'm a complete nut with the brand and have really enjoyed all you are doing to it, so many of these cars are just sat rotting away now and with all the will in the world they get so bad owners just can't afford to repair them, so you doing all this can give hope in some way, please if you can keep the car for a while so it let's us all have a chance to see it at shows around the country when we can have them that is! So we can appreciate the time and effort you have both put in it, all the best. Tom

I ran a shop for 40 years, juggling jobs and taking a while on some jobs is par for the course, unless you're a quick fit shop doing only small jobs you have to do what you're doing, keep it up, I almost miss working on cars watching you, you seem to be doing ok and not losing your mind with crazy customers moaning you aint fixing it quicker even though you told them the parts are on back order.
