It’s nice to see that there are people in this world who realise that they are going to struggle to do a project vehicle, and pass it on to guys like your selves, there are far too many great classics being left to rot or being looked at through rose tinted specs. Thanks for saving the RS Turbos and the continued Rob and Chris 👍🏻

558 comments today so far. That's a fair bit of work there, jacking point covers in my experience will be hardest to find, at least genuine ones. In fact I struggled to get them when I did all the RS cars in the mid 90s. You've brought back so many memories as it's what I did for a few years. God I want to do it again. All the very best you guys and keep it up, your doing great.😀😀😀

Rob, the interior is wrong as is the rear spoiler for an 88 car. The seats should be a very dark drey with a red fleck. Late 90 was the change over year where 90 and 91 cars had different front bumper, interior, rear spoiler and exhaust. There was also a few other non cosmetic changes but nothing major. Hope that helps. I would guess the arches we cut as they rot behind the body kit and Ford did repair panels.

A mate bought a Series Two from new. He thought it rattled a bit and seemed noisy when driving it. He took it to a mates garage and they put it on a ramp. There were many screws missing from the bodykit which was loose. There were a few things that he had to put right (on a new car) and they called it a Friday afternoon car, meaning the workers couldn't be bothered as they were finishing for the weekend. The biggest surprise was written in yellow wax chalk on the sump- 'not fit for export'!
