His good luck stopped at the very time he went ahead to bury his dead band member in a strange burial ground in Atan, Lagos without an express permission of the deceased father. Unfortunately, the deceased band mate was a biological son of a renown witch doctor. This talented man mistakenly stepped on powerful evil toes of those who were stronger than him. That incident was what buried this man's glory. May we not offend stubborn evil powers that will not forgive us. Similar thing seemed to have happened to Fatai rolling dollars who was kept in the wilderness till the dusk of his life. Aye le o!😢

With due respect, Baba's claim that Wale Glorious was 2nd to IK Dairo in the whole of Nigeria in terms of popularity is not correct. My dad who was based in Akure during that time told me that Wale Glorious was more popular in the Akure/Ekiti area, but not as popular as Sunny Ade & Obey Commander who were based in Lagos

I remember this man when I used to clean my uncle's changer and Grundic grammaphone in the sixty/seventy. This is your best interview since I have been watching your interviews. This man is treasure in music if not for his musical instruments stolen, he would have been a guru still reigning. All he said is the truth, especially guitarist 🎸 creativity, and copycats.

Happy to see Mr. Oguntodu, young and energetic at 81, you showed all of us that old age could be eventful and joyful sir. You have a very sharp memory, and you are very articulate sir. I clearly remember Omoobokun growing up in Lagos, in my young adult years, my favorite lines of omoobokun was iya iyami so wipe, (my grandmother used to say). By the way, am a grandma boy, may God rest my dear grandma's soul and other departed souls in heaven. Are you kidding right now? KSA sustained Juju music for roughly 60 years, SSP was coming and going. As at when Afrojuju was envogue, Juju music was still super hot, so whether there was SSP or not Juju was still Juju. The hottestt years of SSP was when he released Ace in 1989 till around 1999 when he lost his band in the U.S. During that time, KSA was still the no1 artist in Nigeria.

KSA is the greatest of all time. He is a complete package, not just chorus singers like others. Talk of singing, diction, costume, stage control, synchronized movement, liveliness, agility, harmony, variety of unpredictable moves, never tiring, playing guitar like a wizard, you will open your mouth in awe from morning till evening but for others you will easily sleep off because all they do is sing choruses about stories. Only KSA packages everything in appropriate proportions.
