Because like any organization like that, it's to a very great degree political, and, well.....not enough politicking for Mr. Cocker, particularly since his passing.

I am constantly surprised that more youtuber's don't react to his music. He is top of the line, and if you do a deep dive into his past, you will be a fan for life. He never got his just do's. Love Joe Cocker!!!!!!! He was at Woodstock! Thanks for doing this one!

Originally recorded by Three Dog Night and went nowhere. Used to go to a dance where everyone wore a funny hat and grooved to this song! If you want to see Kim Basinger dance naked to this song check out the movie "91/2 Weeks"

Love your comments and appreciation of just the music. Back in the day when no costumes, dancers, film, special effects were needed. Cocker did NOT need any of that!

I saw Joe perform at the Ronnie Lane Race for A.R.M.S. back in '83. He was accompanied by Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and The Rolling Stones; minus Jagger & Richards. It didn't suck even a little

When Joe Cocker covers a song, he makes it his. Over the years, he has covered a bunch of songs by great artists such as the Box Tops (Ticket to an Airplane) the Beatles (With a Little Help From My Friends and She Came In Through the Bathroom Window) and others and made them to his own style. I do not know who has done his music arranging, but they were a genius. His covers always seemed to be better than the originals.

The early songs were arranged by Leon Russell, the famous American pianist and writer. He led the Mad Dogs & Englishman band that backed up Joe Cocker.
