I'm 45, but I feel the same. One of my favorite things is watching people watch Phil Collins live who never knew he was a drummer. There's always a moment of "wait...what?! Am I in the Twilight Zone?" that is absolutely priceless. I'm kind of in that sweet spot with Phil's music where I loved it as a kid as he was releasing it, but was also young enough to miss the divorce shenanigans.

This is rock and roll. Full stop. No fireworks, no dancers, no twerking. Pure talent. And, this is live. And the thing about rock and roll, the groups sound the same live, in concert, as they do on the records. Phil Collins is a master! And, he is a pretty nice guy, true rockers do not take the adulations that seriously. There is no rock anymore. times change, of course. But the genre has pretty much gone by the wayside. Not surprising, music does evolve. But, I like that younger gens are willing to listen to music outside their comfort zone, and finding out, hey! Old guys were pretty good!
