Although demar is old, he is very available and rarely misses games. Sign and trades would require less assets so maybe we also find a way to use what’s remaining to snag kuz or cam Johnson? Fans and pundits who want to trade Keegan lack basic math logic. Kings need a starting forward. So, if you trade Keegan, YOU STILL NEED ANOTHER STARTING FORWARD!🤔😡 Plus, Keegan has two more years of a rookie contract you would be throwing away for an expiring contract with BI or Lauri, which means you lose Keegan and most of your assets for a player that can simply bolt after a season and send Kings back into the abyss for years!

I dont see any guy on the trade market worth making a trade. Lavine overpaid and no defense, Kuzma has never been that guy, Lauri would cost us the future in picks, Demar doesn't fit the system and not worth 40 million a year. Lets hold out till the trade deadline and try to get huerter and barnes trade value up.

HB is still rated 21st best starting small forward (out of 30) even after a year where the coaches admitted they didn’t run any plays for him in order to develop Keegan.

Kangz fans...They don't understand the moves for financial flexibility and overall leverage and trading talent for talent... The Kings barely have what kangz fans admit fo talent..even HB and huerter are looked as overrated in Sacramento...what do you kangz fans think they are seen outside of Sacramento? Probably similarly. To have leverage in a trade you need a wanted commodity ..not players we think lowly of and think it turns into "Durant" type player ...if we traded Keegan and picks it still not "even" . Monte is working with what we have... And it's up to the other team to accept that and give a fair offer back. Getting BI means it's a one year rental abd hes going to go to FA. Kuzma, Washington will wait because they are like Sacramento in sone respects...they want a higher value and using Sacramento as leverage of interest for over 3 years just helps kuzma because his "real stats" are just average... But he on the Kings is a on friendly contract and his "value" still is "higher" than HB and huerter. Lavine is over priced on his current contract...but it is what it is. Demar wants to go to a contender and will take a smidge less... but for everyone else he will command over $30 mill...and he's 35. So what a 2-3 year deal with an option?? That locks up some contract we really aren't going to like. Markkenan is probably going to have Keegan included...and his worth is still more than Keegan right now. So it's all messed up Monte??? Right? Reality is the offers being received ate probably abusing Sacramento and he needs to ultimately decide on the best bad deal coming his way.
