I personally think that Sam & Max is just juvenile humor with a good amount of copying adult behaviors and any perceived sexual themes are just projection. Like children replaying a scene from a movie, the characters don't really understand the nuances or repercussions. They just want have fun together.

The funny thing is, I actually made a Max paper puppet. And to even make it even better. I made a sam puppet to. Took me forever for sams. Had to figure out a design and it came out amazing. Still have them. 😭♥️
