Seems a lot of people don't understand what this song is about.... The song was written with the theme that neither knowledge nor education can dictate feelings, but that love "could make the world a wonderful place." The record label didn't take the song seriously but Cooke made sure it was recorded... After this song he started taking more of a stance in the civil rights movement which pretty clearly shows where his head was at when he was singing the song... African Americans were told all the time about how they don't know or understand complex things and here comes Cooke singing that love will make the world a better place not the fact that he's not well educated. Don't let the lighthearted tempo fool you, this song is profound.

This is the best version of ths song, period. Aalon Butler's guitar work along with Eric's vocals, both are outstanding.
