Great video. Thank you. How long is the cable between the mat and the control box?

Hi there! According to the listing, the power cable is 5m.

Great video - only thing I didn't catch is whether the control box has fans in it? The Aputure F22x for example does have a fan which is known to be slightly louder than people wish. I have the older Godox light mats which are fanless and silent, but lack new control options like DMX.

What the name of your old Godox and what the difference between their control and the DMX control?

Hi there! The FL and F Series Flexi Panels are similar in many ways but have some key differences. Apart from being higher wattage overall, the F Series panels are built for professional uses, and have IP64 Weather rating, are a solid panel with foldable lines which make it sturdier and more suitable for high intensity shoots, whereas the FL Panels are fully flexible, allowing them to be rolled up if needed. We've got a blog that covers more details on this here - www.essentialphoto.co.uk/blogs/news/the-fl-vs-f-series-flexi-led-panels?_pos=3&_sid=df079731b&_ss=r

I was thinking of getting one of these to hang in an art studio as a kind of substitute north facing window. What is the size you would recommend to get that kind of softer edged shadow effect ? I understand that basically the bigger the light source the more diffuse.

Hi @chiaradecabarrus3633. Any one of these would be a great option. the larger the light source, the softer the light. How diffused a light is, would be dependant on the diffusion used, however all of these come with a softbox attachment, so the lights should be pretty diffused also. Hope that helps
