I know the new masterclass now includes lessons in Davinci Resolve and is much updated since this video. My opinion is you will still be learning similar skills, transitions, colour grading and in depth video editing like the best in the business! but now added programs and obviously includes editing with nodes and other DaVinci specific features. Now there is even more value-packed in the course and my opinions in this video are very similar just now with regard to DaVinci as well.

Heck ya man that's so cool! I'm glad you enjoyed it. My one note for you specifically is that this course is mainly editing focused over filming. If you are looking to take yourself from intermediate to advanced I think this is an awesome course to take yourself to the top of the game! Hey Hondro! Thanks for the video and the insight of the Masterclass. I am a big fan of Sam work. This year I want to start my journey as a video filmmaker, and I am really interested in learning and growing a business with it. I want to start with Sam Program to learn how to use PremierP and AfterE, with his masterclass you think I would be able to learn from the ground up? Or you think that if I am a beginner is not worth it?

Hey dude! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. You can for sure learn from the ground up in this course. I will be honest, in my opinion Sam does have a quick teaching style so you might need to rewind some sections, but he goes through things in really good detail and he had beginners in mind when he created the course. I honestly think out of all the courses out there, you will progress the fastest with this course. Sam is the best editor for what he does, so who else could teach his style better if you like it? My only last advice is whether you go with this masterclass or another course, it is a long learning curve man, and just like everyone you gotta put in the work. but if you dedicate yourself man you can do anything! Hit me with any other questions you may have!

I didn't really find it valuable because to be honest I was hoping that he would go explaining his thought process about shooting. He has a different course for post-processing which uses DaVinci so the main course is pretty outdated and doesn't really cover the shooting part or the thought process behind certain shots.

hey man sorry for the delay, it doesn't necessarily show you one work flow, but teaches you things like key board short cuts, file organization/important so that you can develop your best workflow, hope that helps!

Hey Hondro! My English is not really good, and I am also struggling whether to buy courses. Although I like sam very much and I am also engaged in video editing, I want to improve my creativity. My editing is fine, but I don’t know how to improve my creativity.

I think the course is great to take your editing to the next step, however, the language barrier might be a bit hard. Right now every video is in English. They did just make an update so you can have English subtitles on the video now and can read/listen to what he is saying in the videos. I think the language barrier might be hard at first but the more you learn English from the course the more you will love the course and your editing will improve a lot. I hope this helps let me know if you have more questions.

my honest opinion bro is don't buy the course yet. Its expensive man. Buy your laptop and camera first and learn as much as you can from youtube. If you can learn the basics first and still want to do the course then it will help you become an expert!

Damn that’s a tough decision, do you already have a laptop? if you already have something to use than i think investing in the knowledge is really smart, but if you dont have anything than getting a laptop is not a bad idea
