This is One of The BEST Interviews EVER!. What great nuanced information that helps paint the truth. As someone who has done many videos on Homelessness, I have learned more while listening than I can type. Quinones is a Master Story Teller.😻💜

Well, this fentanyl meth is getting worse as it is now being cut with Xylazine which causes sores that don't heal. In some cases, appendages have to be amputated.

Doesn't the P2P have like 50% d and l amphetamine which (l) amptamine is not euphoric and with alot more side effects that cause mental illness where the old ephedrine pseudoephedrine dope was like 80 or 90% D ..?
@Rorisang_Ramakhala3 ай бұрын
@@wipsaw100 You are correct,P2P meth produces raecemic meth. Unless the (l) is cut out and (d) meth is left

Sam if we champion you for the position of Mayor of Los Angeles, what would be your prescription for addressing and resolving the drug related homeless problem in town? Are you up to the challenge?

He’s only up to the challenge of cashing a royalty check on his propaganda. Working to eliminate the very few treatment options for pain patients in order to enrich yourself is absolute evil. Maybe he could run the Maximize Corruption department in LA.

I’m not sure his book has any effect on what doctors prescribe. I mean I get it that the medias mass coverage has probably given some drs pause, but with this many people dying what would people say if the media barely covered it?

Very good except where you blamed the mortgage crisis on buyers and not predatory banks and rating agencies. Thank you.

No, he didn't. Also: politicians contributed before, during, and after the crisis. Obama prosecuted not a single banker, for example. He had 8 years. But, he was paid off.

Curious what the effects/feels of the meth and fetinal mixed. Ive asked alot people just nobodys gave me a straight answer. And also is fetinal basicaly a form of herion?
@_RobBanks2 жыл бұрын
fentanyl is a purely synthetic opioid while heroin is semi synthetic. thefeeling of the two mixed is like an extremely intense speedball. intense dopamine rush. but it will have someone spun very quickly. and it is really harsh on the body. meth is ultra toxic. heroin was like oxyodone in that it has euphoria to the max. and clean meth has similar euphoria. but with fentanyl is clinical and a thin line between being adequately medicated or "well" and passed out. if someone is deep in a street fentanyl addiction they do big shots and pass out for about 2 hours and wake up in extreme pain. the sickness happening multiple times a day.

There is no "buzz" with Fentanyl. It must be used for it's potentiating effects?
@fowlermasonknoll5 ай бұрын
It’s not as euphoric as other opiates In my opinion and definitely only lasts about 45 minutes but there is an intoxicating feeling.

It has been found that 3% of pain patients get addicted. 97% do okay getting their pain treated. Addiction can be treated.

Addiction can be treated but Fentanyl is truly a different beast. I’ve been an on and off opiate addict for decades and fentanyl scares the crap out of me.

@@Erik-ms9wt could not disagree more. His first book “dreamland” was the most spot on piece of investigate journalism I have ever read. Not sure what you know about drug use and homelessness, I have been using drugs for over 25 years and was homeless off and on for years in Denver and here in Phoenix and what he described in dreamland about heroin being sold and delivered like pizza after the oxy epidemic was spot on. I’m sure there is “data” available online from government agencies, most of that shit is just bullshit. This guy does know what he’s talking about. Besides being an addict I also worked in harm reduction and at a needle exchange in Denver and here in Phoenix so using or not personally I was around people who were everyday. What’s he wrong about?! Does the DEAs website who claims to be “winning the war on drugs” have better ideas!?!
@fowlermasonknoll5 ай бұрын
One thing I disagree with him on is that the method used to manufacture the meth has made people crazier. He might be right but I used to do all different kind of meth, before crystal I did anhydrous or phosphorus and I’m not sure that one can tell with crystal if it’s made with p2p or ephedrine. I do know lots of addicts all say it changed but I would argue that they changed, their brains eventually got warped, their addictions got worse, their tolerance got higher. Their cognitive ability started to decline, which happens to everyone not just meth users. He might be right but I disagree. People who love cocaine swear that they can’t get high off todays coke but loved the “80s ether base” but these are just prefetches in my opinion. I could be wrong.
