Where this whole thing got started is as important as anything. In the late 80s through early 2010s Americans with serious injuries had just about any pick of Doctors who would write them a script for pain medication. And the Pharmaceutical industry was pushing them hard. Especially Perdue with Oxycontin the new high dose oxycodone without the liver destroyer acetaminophen like in Percocet. Now like with everything eventually some people abused these new simulated opiates, some took way more than what was prescribed and some sold all of their pills. Then 2014 Obama puts Cathlene Sebelius in as HHS secretary. And she decided we needed a war on opiates. Which translates into a war on the poor and disabled and it was pretty successful at what it was intended to do at first. In the first year 75 % of people that were on long term opiate medicine were kicked off cold turkey mostly because the very doctors who started them on the long term opiate medicine declared them addicts and cut them off. So not only are they still suffering from the injuries that got them started on opiates but now they are going through withdraw. And opiate withdrawal is the worst first the runny nose then cough and cough and cough then eebeegeebees up and down the spine. Then they start going through the whole body Head to toe then you want to crawl out of your own feet and legs. Next is throwing up and diarrhea. If you're lucky you can sleep through some of it. But the restless legs go on regardless. It's hell inside of misery. Then with so many losing their scripts the cost of pills went up so no one could afford them and many of the people suddenly left to suffering and withdrawal killed themselves. And the rest discovered heroin. And just like that all of a sudden there's heroin in small town USA were it had never been before. How convenient, still want to deny the CIA is in to drug trafficking? Then suddenly all the heroin dissappears and fentanyl is the only thing available. Nobody wants it but nothing else is available. And it's cheap but dangerous. I know of several people that have overdosed and died. I've even had to narcan a few people myself and do chest compressions to keep them alive till they can breathe on their own. So that's the opiate story in a nut shell. It's a miserable addiction I would never turn another person on to it. All the people I know are veterans and have been doing it for awhile. GOD watch over the suffering addicts looking for a way home. And remember the persons we once were in another time. And I pray for the way out to be shown to all who seek it. I love you Father with all my heart soul and strength and thank you Father.

Damn well said. I would add the USA occupied Afghanistan until only recently and their poppy opium production went from 2% of the world's source pre USA occupation to 98% during occupation. I would also add that our gov is corrupt to the core from the highest offices on down and they are directly complicit in policies that pave the way for such atrocities. Corporations have taken over our government. Whoever wins the elections gets 4 years to legally rob the US taxpayers. Mass murder of our own citizens just means that much less they have to pay out in social security and welfare. A welfare state that would not exist if they hadn't sold us out to corporate interests moving all of our jobs out of the country. People's lives and liberties they are sworn to protect and uphold mean absolutely less than nothing due to corruption. End the corruption by ending the corruptors.

When comments give information...how true is your comment. I have a friend who, after a severe traffic accident, was/is left with a body put back together with titanium pins and legitimate pain. His only relief was his prescribed pain medication, bear in mind that I had a broken clavicle bone years ago and used ice (frozen water) for pain relief while the bone healed because I did not have steel and/or titanium pins which would make ice impossible for pain relief , his prescription was cut off cold turkey and he suffers greatly. What the answer to this situation is, I do not know, but it certainly has been a "throw the baby out with the bathwater" kind of a thing. I won't even address the C.I.A. connection since I still have people roll their eyes when I tell them that said alphabet agency was the creator of Facebook. I leave it at this. I too thank our Father and ask that He, God, and through me and His other children, can come to the rescue of those who are in need. Ah! But I have a theory that the so called "Black eyed" people are not influenced by a supernatural entity but that microscopic amounts of graphene oxide have been added to their street drugs. And as such, the reason for the massive land amount purchased in Paraguay by the Bush family. The large deposit of "Black Goo". With consideration that the oil will not be the money maker which it has been as the electric car comes forced in. God, not religion, is salvation.

That was actually one of the better/more accurate portrayals of the addict life in regards to the “newer synthetic drugs”. It really didn’t seem corny or too out of touch; you can tell Sam had a lot of contact with these types of addicts in the trenches, so to speak. It’s funny how he mentioned how meth- especially this “newer” kind- has swept across America and that it really didn’t exist in New England. I’m from NJ/NYC and when I moved (back) out to Oregon in 2016 I was amazed by all the “tweakers” who just seemed insane or under drug induced psychosis. I’m from Jersey City/Newark area so I’m well familiar with the neighborhood crack heads, but these folks on meth are something different. And I agree, at first I was seeing all white folks in relation to using meth but now I’ve def seen an increase in the black communities as well. Solid conversation from these guys!

How about instead of reopening Psych Hospitals that were closed back in the 80's, we create treatment centers for these people addicted to these drugs. They live there for at least 5-6 months, but also give them jobs, a purpose, while they are there, treatment. Sometimes I look at the world and wonder if the byproducts from creating these drugs is also seeping into our water, because if we look around, it seems like our world has just gone nuts. I remember reading a long time ago how 1 pound of meth created like 5 pounds of waste product that cooks would just dump in the rivers behind their homes or somewhere nearby. So it really affects all of us.

Should have said'Meth' not method... anyways, it is NOT methamphetamine, although it supposedly tests positive in a UA test from police and probation/parole officers... the 'old' style made from ephedrine was actual methamphetamine hydrochloride, and it can also be made from phenyl2propanone as you stated, but is a different isomer and slightly more potent by weight, and another formula uses phenylalanine... What the massive quantities on the street being sold as meth is ... NOT meth at all, more than likely some sort of chemical which interferes with dopamine levels, and maybe even norepinephrine levels in the brain-which produces a schizophrenic type reaction in the users-chemically induced, not by methamphetamine, but some other designer drug which the people making it have no idea what they're actually creating, because they are not chemists by any stretch of the imagination... In fact they 'cook's in giant open pots with rudimentary breathing masks that won't filter anything but dust out of the air, they've been taught their procedures by other members that are just as illiterate as they are, and as long as something comes out that they can manipulate into 'shards' (crystals), they sell it by the truckload... Whatever the chemical composition, it is NOT meth, has completely different properties, although it may contain traces of methamphetamine, for all intents and purposes, it is basically a poison that does induce schizophrenic type symptoms...

You are right. I've seen and experienced the psychotic-schizophrenic effects of this phony, poisonous meth. Real meth is dangerous, but this masquerading "new" P2P meth is just nasty. It causes hatred, violence, paranoid defensiveness, and all the things Sam Quinones describes. I counsel people using it, as a lay counselor, and it is frightening the way they get after using this stuff. They mainly become enraged, and talk to people who are not present as if they are seeing them, and "word salad" is one way to describe the severe handicap upon speech caused by the drug. These bad effects can linger for days after even one use, and perhaps longer, or permanently. Unfortunately, many people think the stuff is real amphetamine but anyone who is familiar with the effect of real amphetaine can tell the difference.
@tonyoh89732 жыл бұрын
Well you try to cook it then. That p2p probably has schizo or psychosis but your choosing to do hard drugs fam, you know what it is. It gets you high as shit though I’d say it’s like the cartridge compared to smoking dro . That shit made me feel woozy like I’m in suboxone or brown and I was good for the entire day no need or thought of a re dose shit I forgot I was a tweaker half the day. It was crazy like I didn’t even think of meth or what it is, just Coolin. P2P? Synthetic you probably be fine anyway just don’t do to much and it easy not to. Shit I would take the risk. Lol! Fuck it . Your gonna go get high t all kinds of what you don’t know just take the p2p route that shit is moist and good like fr. You’ll be lit!!!!! I haven’t felt that real meth high tho in a long time, that was as close as to euphoric I got despite my stress and environment to which is a big factor. I really wish I could get that zoom buzz in my ears and super ready for what ever and so euphoric no over amp no crash just chilling like a vyvanse 70mg . Steady no re dose thought at al. Meth sucks
@kentneumann52092 жыл бұрын
The old school biker crank was made with P2P. The real deal. Very potent. Little bit goes a long way. Then our forward thinking government pulled that off the shelves overnight. Then the main ingredient switched to ephedrine. Pseudoephedrine. Which turns out to be more addictive. So they regulated that. You can still get it, but not without a legal id, and only limited amount per month. The feds put a lot of US citizens in prison for doing home cooks. Illegal surveillance, give us 3 and you go free snitch deals, basically eliminating the competition for the cartels. Now it's the research chemicals with n-iso, not meth. It's all garbage. If P2P is on the market again, I want some. The crap available in Minnesota is a pathetic in comparison. None of the symptoms he describes. I like the hallucinations. You have to have enough sense to realize it's drug induced. Moderation is the key. Whoever is controlling the market in Minnesota get your shit together and grab up a grip of that p2p. We are waiting.
In regards to homelessness you should have clarified if the drug use comes in as a form of medication after someone's life has been ruined due to economic factors, or if it is independent from it .Does a change of your economic status leads to drug use in the present socio economic context? This is what I wanted to know.

It's pretty much the same in England. I was coming up for retirement and moved to what was a lovely bohemian medievel town in the countryside. There is a 'homeless' charity there that take addicts from all over the country and it is horrendous. The violence the crime the anti social behaviour is non stop. Once addicted these people become monsters. I'm now looking to move again it's so bad. Lots of my neighbours have moved too. The police don't even bother to come out anymore.

When you say dealers are putting downers, like fentanyl in an upper like cocaine in order to get their users hooked and come back to them, it makes me question everything else. A cocaine user would not want cocaine laced with fentanyl because it would counter the effects that they’re looking for. Cocaine user is likely already buying pretty often.

Many KZbin videos being made on these subjects: fentanyl, and recovery from these opioids. The most videotaped street in the USA is especially featured: Kensington Street, Pennsylvania. Day, night, and all for seasons of the year. The Walmart of fentanyl. Many missing features in this video. Fentanyl is old technology. There are now many replacements and substitutes, especially carfentanyl. Wikipedia has correct & updated entries on these items, updated regularly by Wikipedia editors such as myself. A heroin replacement, these pain killers were started by the opioid craze, authorized by USA big Pharma. Treatment is common now: carboxyn, methadone and similar substitutes. Like most drug abuse programs, many attempts are not very successful.

If heroin did anything right it was providing income to the farmers. I'm sure marijuana has been massively impacted by legalization and now the Poppy farmers. Drug cartels no longer support the community in any way it seems. Will that lead to conflict I wonder.

@tonyoh89732 жыл бұрын
Hey it’s not the original type of synthetic it’s fake of a fake like a boot leg cartridge . Or a pressed Xanax from the dark web . You’ll get half the amount you take like. 2 mg is really half that in there if your lucky . Fuck that. Speed in the dark web is amphetamine sulphate it’s closer. Then whatever people use for the benzodiazepine substitute . Sometimes it’s not even alprazolam that what they say it is but that’s the name of the Xanax . It’s not the active ingredient to get u barred that’s like saying I’m pressing weed it’s called sour diesel . You know what I mean? I wouldn’t, I probably smoked meth from the web that I didn’t know was from the web. Cause tweakers all love hacking doing terrible shit that is not terrible to tweakers as long as you don’t to it to others. But hey I feel dark web csrytal sucks. There’s a shelf life on shit crystal that’s not even 30 days. I know if you make it good and proper there is much longer lasting and less bad effects of the high

Highest rate of imprisonment in the world. In the alleged land of the free. God forbid you have any kids and the bitch decides to split. Then it's no drivers licence. How can you work without a dl? Then it's jail. Mom's basement. Debt. Even if everything goes perfect. Debt. Credit ratings. Foreclosures. No job security. The list is endless. It's illegal to be human. Escape. Just a little. Maintained. Moderation. Then the gov restrictions change the game and what you thought you were getting for your lil escape is not what you know and trust. It's something else and... Too late. Dead. What if your favorite beverage you drink every day suddenly wasn't, but was sold as the same? You crack it open and slam the first half and drop dead. What brings you to this topic anyway?
