Sam, I do think your TE take is possibly THE takeaway of the year. Heavy WR early wasn’t necessarily the mistake, it was the fact that we were taking TEs instead of taking good RBs with projectable volume on good projected offenses, when the value of TEs were so unlikely to give you an edge in those rounds vs just taking them later. It was almost a TE deadzone lol, just like the RB deadzone is also smashing this season. Thats where the collective went truly wrong. (That and QB picks).

Maybe one lesson regarding the smashes of Saquon and Henry is that if you’re fading an offseason RB acquisition, you’re fading the team’s front office to a large extent. The Eagles and Ravens front offices are generally considered two of the sharpest in the league.

My reason for fading saquon was his injury issues past years. I still maintain that every week he goes for 25 touches he is 1 week closer to not being there week 17 where gainwell or shipley will smash the cowboys.

Incredible episode. Over the last year or two this has become my favorite show to watch on KZbin. There’s legitimately great analysis and it’s the only show I can’t listen to at work because I can’t help but laugh at some point during every episode. Won’t be the same without you Sam. Biggest lesson I learned this year is to just draft the younger/mystery box RB if it's unknown Dowdle over Zeke Brown over moss Next year I'll just take the younger guys a round ahead of ADP and only mix in the other RB a small % of the time if at all.

What’s going to matter this season is drafting late rounds from the NFC south, excluding saints. (Mooney, Cousins, Baker, Otton) High powered so-called mediocre offenses against mediocre defenses is 🔥. Late round Buccaneers and Falcons players are punching all of my tickets right now, despite my lack of Barkley, Mixon and Henry. oh and Brock Bowers, Jennings, Robinson, and wicks having peak spike weeks at all the right times hasn’t hurt with my 25%+ of each of them. Oh and my full fade of fools gold Diggs, Allen, and Waddle and low Texans bags overall (too high priced) smelling like roses. The next few weeks could turn all of my bags around as I’m heavily invested in Rams, Vikings, Cardinals, Dolphins RBs, uninjured 49ers and Seahawks. All in tight playoff races. Just need Evans back ASAP to stop Cade Otton from sinking my Baker ships that mostly do not have him.
