Love the portion of Fouad being clear about what Sam is doing, I think he's right on the money by saying "whether you realize it or not, your fan base is looking to you for instruction". I don't think, just based off some of the answers, Sam has really grasped how big he's getting and the following he's gaining. And with that growth a lot of people are going to start clinging to him to try and replicate what he's done and is doing - this is some great, sound advice. Helps Sam get perspective of how many people he's reaching and listening to him. Awesome interview!

Sam reminds me a lot of myself when I was starting to lift at 17/18(crazy to think im already 30 now..) for college baseball, which very quickly ended up with me training full time for BBing by 19 and doing my first show at 20. I can tell he has the same passion and interest I did in getting bigger and better, and brings the same level of intensity and passion to training. I remember being in summer school for the first time ever for Physics my senior year(purely due to senior year laziness) and using that time to research everything from research papers on training to reading about every single compound there is just to have a base understanding about any compound I could potentially use as a BBer....not only did I know I intensely wanted to compete and win in BBing, but I was going to prepare and educate myself as much as possible as well. I was like Sam as well, skinny but lean, very high metabolism, but put on muscle easily...I relate to anything he says about just doing whatever you have to in order to get your calories in. I was eating 1000 calories at 3am if I needed to, bringing extra food INTO the diner(just because it was cheaper and I needed the cals), doesnt matter how absurd anyone thought anything I did was, I was willing to do it and enjoyed it the more absurd "normal" people thought it was. Training was always head down, working as hard as I possibly could, but also trying to train equally as smart. That type of passion and intensity led me to wins at 20/23 years old including an overall, both of which at big reigonal qualifiers, and was about to do my first national show for the pro card chase before my father passed away and I had to have a tumor removed. I know I had the genetics and passion to do well at the national level, im hoping I can watch Sam use his own passion and genetics to chase his dreams in a BBing career and do what I didnt.
