As someone who has been clean nearly 13 yrs and who has detoxed at LEAST 15x, the 3-7 day detox is nothing compared to how you are living every single day, What a blessing it is to wake up every morning and not be ill. To not have to sell your soul, body, rob, cheat and steal daily to get your drugs, ect. We are talking a week and maybe a month of not sleeping. You can do this, Dont let the addiction lie to you. Praying for yall.

You detoxed before fentanyl was in all the dope. You don’t really know what it’s like.
@mommyof3_9083 жыл бұрын
@@dewilew2137 I've also detoxed from xanax and methadone- both TOGETHER, sweetie. Xanax is the worse detox of all.
@Justice4Skye3 жыл бұрын
@@mommyof3_908 you can't quite say that, they put things you can't imagine in the drugs now. Fentynal stays in your fat cells for months, it's not like the other drugs. Medical research shows it takes multiple months to completely clear out of your system, meaning the "seven" day detox you might have had on heroin, can be 3 months for others.
@mommyof3_9083 жыл бұрын
@@Justice4Skye yes it's called PAWS. Post accute withdrawal syndrome. Usually lasts about 90 days. Either way, it is most certainly worth getting your entire life back, wouldn't you say? 😉
@Justice4Skye3 жыл бұрын
@@mommyof3_908 no, paws is "post" acute withdrawal symptoms. Meaning, post, or after detoxing. The thing with fentynal, different from other opiates, like I said, is the fact that it stays in your fat cells, for months, so paws can't even start until that's all detoxed out. Simply meaning it's a much longer and harder detox, then you or I might have had for previous opiates, benzos, etc. Quite a quandary for a drug that addicts need to take every hour, because it doesn't keep them high long, yet it takes the longest to get out of your system. I've seen people using fentynal that think they are sick a week after stopping fentynal and put themselves into precipitated withdrawals from the naloxone/buprenophrine, something we never saw from the shorter acting opiates before. I mean suffering unlike anything, people crawling out of their skin so bad they are punching themselves in the face, etc. They keep advancing these drugs with CHEAPER more DANGEROUS alternatives that ravage the body more and more. Most of the pharmaceutical drugs, like your standard opiates and benzos not mixed with the meat tenderizer, battery acid, and tranquilizers they put in street drugs, can be safely detoxed in a few weeks, months, and usually return to normal...sadly these dealers are putting everything and the kitchen sink in these folks drugs. I've seen these people with the holes all over their body, one young lady lost most of her nose just from sniffing the stuff. REGARDLESS of all of that I AGREE WITH YOU 100%, the suffering is so hard and SO SCARY and DANGEROUS especially now, but it's either that or die...if Suboxone isn't an option for a lot of these addicts who need to feel an opiate high, they need to get on methadone as a last option. You put so much poison in your body, people think it will just take a few days to undo years of damage. Me, personally, I didn't feel like a human who was able to sleep, laugh, and be "somewhat" normal with nothing at all in my system. (Except I did the the occasional kratom tea), but it was 3 months before I got a decent night sleep and six months before I felt I could interact with other humans and be part of society. Everyone's story is different and our bodies all process things differently. But the reality is, yes either live, or die. Take your life back, or don't.

I had a massive fear of detox but with the right medication and medical supervision it wasn't as bad as I'd feared. After that, it's learning to live clean and that's the challenge. NA and the 12 steps help a lot. I got a sponsor and coming up 5 years clean. I'm still on suboxone- a low dose - it keeps me safe. Praying for these beautiful girls. Sending loving vibes from NZ

Wish the actual detox was the hardest part of finding sobriety. Mental health help, staying away from triggers, the anxiety of not using, so much rolled into the first two weeks, first 30 days, first 3 months... It is a tough, tough road. I'm on my dozenth full detox..well, maybe 3rd. And coming off fentanyl - something I'd never experienced before & was careful about staying away from ..i know the hell they are facing. It's doable, but with help would be so much easier. This has been awful. Day 3, and just hoping it doesn't get any worse. We can do this. We deserve this. I hope Sam & Amber find the strength to demand better of themselves.

That detox maybe rough, but whats more rough is continuing to try to survive and not living at all. Your life is worth it, you are worth it. You deserve to get the help that you need and live a life worth living. Sending comfort.

Sam is such a likable person. She has so much potential. I think she would be an influential motivational speaker. Her concern for the cat melted my heart.

Yes, because thats when a lot of people have to face their problems. Its scary, and also people get scared of the unknown theyve been so used to the life style that it scares them.

To face maybe a lifelong trauma....you need trauma therapy

@@lovisaericsson9569 Yet, as I stated,some people fear facing their demons. The most structured & exacting therapy might be available but there remains among many a fear of engaging. Stats will tell you that all day long. As the saying goes you can walk a horse to water but you cannot make it drink.

I hope they get the help they so deserve, and also I was watching another KZbinr that was filming down there and this guy was passed out on a step but the youtuber went to wake him up to make sure he was ok, and like her talking about people with sores on them like the guy with the sore on his leg, well the guy in the other video his whole arm and hand had these sores and it looks swollen, so probably whatever they are putting in there body (IV drugs) there’s probably something very bad eating away their flesh like that, anyway just thought it strange 2nd time in one day seeing this.... Anyway sorry so long lol, And I’m praying for all of them and also thank you Mal you are an angel sent from God🙏🏼🙏🏼bless you🙏🏼🙏🏼

Such a beautiful little girl. She still has such a youthful innocent face. God bless her and watch over her. I’m hoping and praying for her recovery ASAP!! She has a great heart and doesn’t belong on the streets, I just hope she can see that herself. Samantha- I know withdraw is the worst feeling in the world, I speak from experience but babe you have to suck it up and do it! You have to believe in yourself and be strong and change your life!!! You deserve to be happy and you deserve to live a good healthy life. I just hope you can snap out of it and see it for yourself soon!! We all love you! Take care of your self!❤️

Good luck to you sweetie. Mal is a is such a blessing. I have been watching him for a long time. If I can ride out to Kensington from Cleveland I will come get the cat. If not I'm going to get the information from Mal and send you some food and stuff for y'all. I've been right where you are standing and I was homeless and a bad dope fiend but now I am clean almost 7 years. We do recover sweetie, we do recover. Stay up!

Girl you’re a strong soul , remember one step at a time you’re beautiful inside and out . and as far as detox goes some places will help with that process like subutex ect but it depends on how some feel about that ect …. I believe in you , I got clean a year ago when I found out I was pregnant when I was just starting treatment ..: I took that as a motivation to get clean for my sons sake. He’s 4 months old and the best gift ever. I have a van and my own apartment and with someone who loves and treats me right had a kid with them , now I’m a parent and doing what I can to stay sober and be there for my son. You can do this hunnie … remember detox will come and go that’s hump that you gotta climb but you’re strong you got this . I see way to much potential in you , someone With a bright personality like you shouldn’t even be tied up in that type of lifestyle but shit happens nobody is perfect … we do recover ! Shout out from Seattle wa !
