Datflys: I don't know what you did, but the sound is almost studio quality! So much of the nuances of her singing gets lost in the distortion of her live shows. Whoever mixed the audio deserves high praise! She sounds better in her monitor; so she gives it 110%, there may have been someone important in the audience, whatever. The end result is a very great show here, and you've captured a piece of music history. Good job!

Far from a studio quality! We hardly hear her guitar in rythm!!! But overall the sound is good!

Comparing to other Samantha Fish onstage KZbins, the vocals come through much better here than usual. I'm also hearing more of the keyboards. Sam's guitars, on the other hand, sound "thin", like the middle and low ranges have been cut in the EQ. I can't guess how much of this is happenstance and how much is intentional. Sound mixing is always a compromise, even in a studio, and I can easily imagine Samantha saying she's still learning things about the different role of lead guitar in a band of this size versus the trio.

Got to see Samantha last Saturday at the BellyUp Tavern in Solana Beach, CA. She is absolutely one of the greatest guitarists out there and her voice is next to none. I was lucky to visit with her after her set, purchase her latest CD (that she signed), and to have a couple pictures taken. Long wait to finally see her in person and hope to do so again. Pure genius!

Samantha is always amazing. Her voice and charisma with that soulful guitar, so nice. I must admit I sort of miss the days of that raw sound with Go-Go Ray and Scott. It felt electric, like anything could happen. It was dangerous in its simplicity, but darn good. This is pretty great too so far, so I will hear the whole thing through.

WOW... This is some seriously fine guitar playing. The looping, which I normally detest, just slams home. From exactly at the the hour mark (01:00:00), to 01:03:20, we get assaulted with some of the fiercest, extraordinary guitar I've heard from a live show in a very long time. 01:22:20 when someone forgets to change the battery in the vocal effector total awe of the tightness of her shows..changing multiple guitars during solos while stomping the pedalboard and tuning, then immediately belting out the next vocal for the start of a new song, just stunning stage timing, amazing precision... more than total pro..
