I just ordered some Auric products. Glad to see that it’s your top brand. I LOVE the LYS foundation and I really like the blush. The bronzer was not my favorite either. Sonia G. brushes are AWESOME! Very expensive but really worth it. ❤️

This was so great! The top brands that I tried this year are rare beauty (I love the mascara), Huda (I got the mercury retrograde palette and it is gorgeous), Fenty (eaze drops), Dior (powder of course), and LYS (I actually love their bronzer)

I tried Melt for the first time but…. I am in love with their brown petite stack. I feel like it flew under the radar. It is the most useful makeup product I bought this year. It is the perfect product to keep on my makeup vanity and for travel. I would love for them to come out with more variations.

For lisa eldridge the liquid shadoes and lip glosses are nice. Not a fan of the lipstick because it was extremely drying and I have dry skin/lips already.

Be mindf of the eyeshadow. The sparkle is not as reflective as many others. I just tried Jaclyn cosmetics top coat it is truly like glass, or wet wet look. I wore it to work and a guy I'm interested in made a sexy comment about my eyes. The first one he has ever made in the 3 months we been working together. When I wore the Auric, not one compliment

LYS was my favorite new brand I tried this past year. I like pretty natural makeup and I loved the foundation, the blushes and the bronzer as well. Not to mention the price was great too! I am a novice when it comes to bronzer, and I like the LYS and the Fenty ones. They both are sheer enough for me and easy to apply and blend.

New brands for me in 2021 were/are Oden's Eye, LYS (at last I can try this brand, it's now stocked at CultBeauty), Koh Gen Do and, can you believe, I've got Tatcha on the way - yippppppeeeeeeee!!!!! This was fantastic Sam! The best year end roundup regarding new or first tried brands - in fact, I don't think I've seen anything like this before! Just brilliant 👏 Love you, ❣

I only tried a few new brands in 2021. BH Cosmetics, Odens Eye, Sigma and Auric at think. Luckily they're all hits for me. It's hard to rank them. I think Sigma would be # 1. I just love their palettes. AURIC I think #2 just because I'm most eager to try more from the existing line and i could see myself happily using their eyeshadow if I were living out of 1 makeup bag. I put Defiance in a project pan for the year. I was so excited when I hit pan in 11:11 that I was finally able to get on board with trying my hand and being a planner! Lol. 3. Odens Eye - gorgeous inside and out. I adore the themes and enjoy the palettes. 4. BH has great quality and I'm happy they are an affordable brand really bringing great quality.

I would be interested to see some Lisa Eldridge & Wayne Goss on your channel. Maybe you could purchase a bunch of products and do a combined 'full face' video (or as much as you can). .. On my list of make up brands to try in 2021 I managed 6/9 - Victoria Beckham Beauty, Sigma Beauty, Tower28, Kosas, Maybelline & BK Beauty. The other 3 were Juvia's Place, Laura Mercier & Elf. I will definitely try Elf in 2022 as I ordered a 'back to school' kit from them in around autumn time that I just haven't got round to, but I'll probably drop the other two now as they have been on my lists for a couple of years now and there hasn't been anything I've really wanted to try. As for 2022, I need to have a think about some brands to try I think...

I love the real technique brushes! Their makeup sponge is great to use too, except mine didn't last long. Had it maybe a month or so before it molded. It was weird.

This was such a fun video! I do enjoy Melt but I don’t buy everything from them. I bought the liquid highlighter to mix in foundation and it’s nice like that. My top recommendation for Melt would be their cream blush lights. My favorite is polished. I stay away from their lip products because they’re heavily scented and drying. I own two palettes but I use more color more along the lines of Angelica so I can’t recommend a palette to try. Maybe Brunet? But I totally understand budgeting.🥰 Edited to add: You got me hooked on DSMD sponges this year. I love them!!

The LYS Triple Fix Serum Foundation is my everyday foundation! I absolutely adore it! It has solid medium coverage and a slightly glowing finish. I like to wear it with the Auric Glow Lust underneath and it is beautiful! The shade range is also very good! 10/10 would recommend giving that foundation a try.

The Scott Barnes Blending brush is 100% worth the cost in my opinion...it blends ANYTHING. I haven't tried his makeup though. I would be interested to see you try Lisa Eldridge. I have one of her Lipsticks and I enjoy it.

Not all brands work for us no matter how much we think that they should be fantastic. I bought a Fenty mascara that I trashed because it flaked so bad, if it had been glitter I would have had a face full. I tip I got from Mel was to use Dove bar soap to clean my brushes! Game changer

I think Kaleidos or Nabla are my faves from 2021. Like I have a hard time picking between the two. BlendBunny is high on my list for after my nobuy. But I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the Dollhouse palette since its a neutral palette but with an edge

Natasha Denona is my favorite brand that I tried this year. I fell in love with the retro palette so I got that plus the glam palette that had been calling my name for years! This year I really wanna get my hands on some Huda beauty. I've tried a lipstick and liquid lipstick this year, but I'm craving the Mercury retrograde palette 🙈

I tried Melt for the first time this year and the main product that stole my heart was their petite brown stack (but I think it’s limited edition 😢). I noticed that I don’t reach for palettes as much as I reach for this little stack, it’s kind of amusing. The other Melt product I liked was their cream blush. I liked it, but didn’t love it. The brand just isn’t my aesthetic and that’s okay. Another brand I tried for the first time was LYS Beauty and I adore their Triple Fix Foundation and powder. Both are beautiful. I also tried Oden’s Eye because of the collabs and all three palettes are stunning. Anyway, loved hearing what brands you enjoyed in 2021. I’m deciding if there are any others that I need to try in 2022 but after finishing your video, I’m sure I’ll be adding to my list 😆

I actually LOVE LYS, especially their bronzer (I also have the foundation, 2 blushes, setting powder, and highlighter). I also discovered Tower 28 (cream blush & lip jelly - can’t wait to try their tinted sunscreen in the spring), Natasha Denona (💖 Retro and Glam), Ilia (didn’t like serum, loved their multi stick), & Tom Ford Lost Cherry (OBSESSED). Oh, and the Fenty Gloss Bombs. 💖💖💖 On my 2022 list: makeup by Mario, ‘Em Cosmetics, Merit, and Replica. Also hoping to try a Tom Ford eyeshadow palette.

Wayne Goss blush/highlighter duo in coral rose is gorgeous, beautiful shade, and the highlighter is amazing. its so creamy and looks fantastic on the skin, i just tried Lisa Eldridge for the first time, got a lipstick, lipliner and gloss for Christmas and they are beautiful, am really interested in Scott Barnes I'd love you to try something of his. I forgot to add i tried LYS for the first time last month, i tried the bronzer and cream blush and i really liked them so maybe give the cream blush ago

I hope you give LYS a 2nd chance! They have a beautiful serum foundation w/skincare ingredients. Also they are very well known for there cream blushes and there new highlighters are stunning. I personally loved the bronzer but it worked with my skin tone since I have more olive undertones. One brand I’ve been dying to try is Auric ! Just seems pricey for me at this time but on my list for this year:

For LYS I have heard good things about their Serum Foundation and their Triple Fix Powder…not sure how it will compare to the Dior though.
