As a former cop of 13 years he pulled you over cause it was a rental car and he was hoping you were running drugs. He used the left lane as probable cause to stop you. Some jurisdictions make the cops at least issue a written warning because it keeps statistics on who gets stopped. He didn’t have to be rude though. There are some that are just like that I’m sorry that happened to you!

As an adult the Christmas magic will never be the same as when your a kid, but if you make your own little tradition it helps. For the past couple of years I always get Sonic and watch the cheesiest Christmas movies that I can find while wrapping Christmas presents. Also I highly recommend watching kids Christmas movies (my fave this year was the Mickey Mouse movies) while doing Christmas crafts! Throw in some cozy pajamas, Christmas lights and Hot chocolate and you have a magical night! ❤🎄🎅 Hope this helps if you see it!

Christmas has lost the magic for me too. Mostly because school has been very stressful, but also, I’m almost 30yrs old and I don’t plan on having kids. I’m also not religious anymore. So Christmas mostly just feels like a money spending season. But to make it more magical, I’m turning to more pagan traditions of being grateful for nature and the increasing daylight after winter solstice. That makes it feel a little bit more magical in a way that makes me feel mindful and grateful for nature and its phases.

As soon as he saw my sleeping husband sit up from being reclined, the cop made up the dumbest excuse. He said I crossed the white line on the right shoulder.

The older I get the more i turn into my mom. She always told me to be very careful when I'm out by myself. I see Samantha doing things she really need to change. First, don't ever leave your vehicle running when you're in a store. You never know whose watching you at a gas station. They see you're by yourself and left the car running so the doors aren't locked. Its night time and the holiday season. Its that time of the year when theft is at its highest. Second, at the light show you're telling strangers you're traveling alone to another state. STOP telling strangers your business. They don't need to know you're traveling alone to another state. That's information no stranger should know. Be careful these days are crazy.

I think this is a great comment. To add on, I could find the exact hotel where Samatha was staying in New York because of the view out the window. I am from New York and very familiar with the area. I am not as familiar with her city in Florida, but I was still able to determine which apartment building she lives in. As a fan, I would never disclose these things or use this information in a harmful way, but you never know what someone with bad intentions will do. I just hope she can see these comments and be more careful.

Yes to all of this! I too had a very cautious mother (she was overprotective due to being from another country with much higher crime than the US) and I very much internalized all of those safety precautions, so I'm quick to notice when other people are doing potentially dangerous things. As much as I like watching YT, I feel like it's so easy to get caught up in social media that people forget that what they post online can have real world ramifications. I'm so glad that Samantha is safe, but I agree she takes some needless risks sometimes!

I've been pulled over for driving in the left lane too. I was with my ex at the time and the cops started telling us we were trying to go to a spot that was known for people having s*x in their cars, we weren't. They followed us for 10 minutes before they pulled us over. Some cops abuse their power and some use it for good.

I got pulled over for the first time when I moved back home last summer. I had Wyoming license plates so I knew that’s why they were pulling me over. Nope, it was just the drug force in the area and they were pulling people over to just check things out. I didn’t have my license with me either. But I said nicely, this is my first time being pulled over so I’m sorry if I’m nervous, I have anxiety and I’m on my way to a job interview. He said oh well have a good day and good luck and let me go.

I’ve lived in Illinois my entire life and never heard a “ left lane law” lol. But I did get pulled over once at 19 at like 1am, the cop said I “rolled the stop sign” even though I came to a complete stop. When he told me that I said “no you pulled me over because I don’t look 19 I look 15 and it’s late. If you give me a ticket I will fight it and demand the dash cam footage on your car” he said “ fair enough” and told me to have a nice night 🤣 they totally pulled you over because it’s a rental you did nothing wrong

It also said drivers are allowed to stay in the left lane when there is no one behind them. And as she stated there was no one in the road with her. So technically she didn’t even do anything unlawful. The cop was just pulling her over because it’s a rental
