Fantastic job Sam!! I'm going to say that it is a RELIEF to have someone who is proactive about troubleshooting and posting solutions instead of flying into a panic attack. I see people buy a machine and COMPLETELY loose their minds if they hit one snag. These videos are going to help hundreds if not thousands of people down the road. Keep up the good work!!

Awesome! I don't know if I'll go the route of an enclosure for video reasons. Otherwise, I would definitely want one! I milled up some plastic cutting boards yesterday and it looks like snow in the whole corner of the shop now! LOL

So I'm having the same problem where mine is going backwards so when you swapped y1 and y2 did you mean in the box where all the connections are located or did you just switch the wires In-between where the connect on the dragg chains?

Sam, get an old sheet, to use as a cover. It will, of course, get dusty during use but there is no sense in it getting dusty, when Not in use.

@@Samcraftcom: In my basement shop, I keep my stationary tools covered until needed. At the end of the day, I vacuum clean, then cover up again. Dust collects moisture, especially on cold surfaces. Moisture causes rust. Clean & covered: No dust, no rust.

Try and not use power cord that is looped around itself or wound up as it can heat up with its own inductance

Does the router get plugged into the Shapeoko and then the Shapeoko gets plugged in the wall?
@zapa1pnt3 жыл бұрын
Yes
@Samcraftcom3 жыл бұрын
No, the router has its own power cord separate from the machine's power supply. On the Pro the router power cord routes to the left side of the machine while the controller board, USB, and power inputs for the machine are on the right.
