i know Preston does not read his comments... but i feel compelled to leave one...As much as people say its disgusting suggesting a doctor or a child makes the statement "would you rather have a dead child or a trans child" i think it is even more dangerous for people like preston to speak to the "de-bunkin" of that.... how many would it be enough? If your child took their life? After you or a doctor dismissed the idea? Also... maybe your child was not able to "attempt" it.... because as much as they wanted to die... they were afraid to? Is that intense feeling enough to seek out care? Your child suffering...but because you think... well they are not suffering enough to take their life.... its "OK".... This conversation... Brenna did! And as she says in this conversation the different sides of the Church (you have a demon) (You must not be "right" with God).. Is someones gender more important then "any" possibility of such self-hatred and distress worth dismissing, because "i read a recent study that shows it doesnt happen"..... And i do not know the studies Preston has read... but just logically speaking.... If your child took their life because of gender dysphoria.... how would that be reported to a "study".... My OB Doc does not even realize i twisted my ankle ... and my GP doesnt realize i have consistent check ups with my OB,, but some how a "study" knows which children have taken their lives do to dysphoria?
