I hold Dr. Timini in the highest regard. "Insane Medicine" was both healing to read, as a psych survivor, and provided further confirmation and enlightenment on the history and roots of psychiatry. A Brave, highly ethical, sensitve, and funny man.

I love knowing that there are others out there with the same philosophy and ideas around mental health as the current model is outdated and corrupt. We need to go deeper into the depths of our soul and not deeper into padding the pharmaceutical industry’s pockets

Thanks a lot for all the work you do! Humanity really needs another approach to the mental health topic! I've lost people (suicide) and a friend because of the false narratives psychology and psychiatry perpetuates nowadays. Because I don't have a degree in those fields, my opinion doesn't count... it's so important that insiders speak out about the problems. ❤️

It would be so important that talks such as these make their way to the general public. I am thinking of copying the link and pasting it on a few popular sites. It is crucial that this be viewed more widely.

dito. I just wanted someone to talk to, instead I was persuaded there might be something wrong with my head and now after taking the pills, there is. But now there's no help to be found.
@@TheDavveponken I hear you. I recovered from the abuses of psychiatry, but I've had an autoimmune disease for 12 years, with NO help from our wonderful sick care system. We would be better off with holistic medicine, although I do believe there is a need for meds in an emergency or for anesthesia, etc. It's a crime that so many need help. but after doctors destroy you, they throw you to the curb!!
@TheDavveponkenАй бұрын
@@stephaniegreen6888 Did you develop it from psychiatric drugs? I am suffering from autonomic dysfunction (I think) after the ritalin gave me nerve/brain injury. But no help from health care in this unfortunately. It's been like this for two years. How are you coping today?

thanks for having these conversations, this is the most important thing after food, and shelter. it is devastating tho how little views it has, it should have millions, if not billions of views as this kind of knowledge literally can change the world. but i guess you cant make things grow faster, everything takes its time, so do people in upgrading their understanding

We need to stick together. It's hardest to be someone in that position of feeling powerless to a crushing dominant ideology. But there are glimpses of hope when we can sustain different ideas in some kind of communities - we are not broken.

A whole new paradigm about human suffering and experience coming from psychiatry. Remarkable. These ideas approach Catholic thought on the value and inevitability of suffering. I agree with both doctors - this thought is truly empowering.

Slow and repetitive. No allusion to nutrition, sleep, poverty, and, really, the sociological dimension of health and illness-perhaps to be expected from those trained and working in so-called medical science. At least he doesn't say nutrition is irrelevant as Goetsche says. God help us.
