Bro genuinely nobody would mind AEW if they actually had decent stories and not just random matches every week. There's some sort of story and reason to tune in to wwe programming and even though a lot is not everyone's cup of tea it's at least trying to make you watch every week. Maybe I'm biased but when Punk returned to wrestling and actually had history/stories with guys that made sense other than "oh we fought this one time in x promotion", I actually cared and tuned in every week. It wasn't Shakespeare but it was a story and that made it entertaining. I don't hate AEW. They put on banger matches and I'll watch the PPVs, but there's nothing pulling me and a lot of fans in to watch weekly

I've been watching since the 80s and been around the IWC since the 90s. We've always leaned way more towards mentally ill. I tend to find it's true for most extremes. I'm an audiophile too, and we are even more mentally unhinged, trust me. We will spend 10k on one piece of gear only to save up and spend 20k for a 0.2% increase in (perceived) sound.

You can tell they definitely put Sami in that Daniel Bryan like position of the underdog,over the match was ok last couple minutes was good, hard to care for it when most of it was in commercial, should have saved it for survivor series

Sami Zayns entire NXT run was “close but no cigar” and when he finally beat Neville for the title the roof blew off Full Sail. Sami will be a world champion one day.

I'm sorry but Sami's inability to win the big one is squarely down to how deep WWE's main event scene is right now, coupled with them not wanting to book many short world title reigns. Punk has serious momentum right now, and I struggle to see how they'll keep Drew away from either world title for the next few months. And I don't believe Gunther should be losing the WHC anytime soon. Sami should likely get a run with the belt sometime next year though.

Rushed segments, way too many commercials, technical difficulties, one women's match featuring 10 (TEN) wrestlers... It honestly felt like it was the closest thing to Vince's 2010s RAW. The only saving grace was the main event and I'd argue it was the final 3-4 minutes in particular not the entire match. Too early to judge this two-hour format, but creative came into this week's episode completely unprepared.

10 woman in a match and I'd be lucky if I could name 3 of them let alone tell you anything about their characters. This isn't an issue with today's Raw....I've been following WWE a lot more closely since Mania and I still can't tell you whose in the pure fusion collective or the other stable. I am NOT exaggerating when I say Vince was booking the woman's division better than HHH in his last few years where wrestling sucked. HHH continues to get way more of a pass as a successful booker than he deserves because WWE as a company is hot. This is far from his only flaw but its a massive one. Another is his handling of every tag division. We can't care about faceless people thrown into the ring. These performers need mic time, we need to hear about their goals and lives. They need vignettes. This is all stuff you can easily do over the course of months and hasn't happened. Sometimes you actually get this stuff but its not on the main show. The getting over it podcast aired a Karrion Kross promo that was fantastic and made me care about the guy more than anything HHH has done since Mania. It was better than half the Punk promo's we've had and took 1/6th the time. There's room for this stuff. Make your show better.
