It’s possible, did this activity for a game night at my youth center :) (edit for those that keep replying, I realized I had made a mistake. I did do this, however the key detail I forgot (like an idiot) was that the ropes were tied to our wrists, so we were able to free ourselves through the 4 extra loops that were created via tying around our wrists)

At 46 seconds the towel is above Sam’s left shoulder so that part of the towel can’t escape so when Sam’s body have the camera he quickly let go if his towel that he was holding and put the other towel under his arm so they could escape. In that video our wrists r tied to that rope , so we could take out by taking it from our wrist ring.
