Kite from La Paz, Mexico to la Ventana (100km) or Around Isla Ceralvo and Isla Espirito Santo (200km but consisten winds) you could camp in one of the islands with dry bags. I'm a panga boat designer so I could provide a watch boat haha. Love your chanel!

I just got back from Puerto Rico. East winds are epic there. You could probably do that too but that’d be a gnarly go. Great video mate

Hilarious, was really enjoying your epic trip, I like adventures too - I know the sailboat you passed, with brown sails! I’ve kite some long distances and rowed and sailed my 8’ dinghy some long ones too. I’m headed to Grenada on Saturday, to my boat for a couple months, first since Covid. Taking a wingfoil setup to learn that on. Too bloody cold here on Vancouver Island right now, though I have been boarding quite a bit. Keep it up!

This is super awesome! This is one of the things that appealed to me about foils before I started - you can really do some adventures on them. Glad to see I'm not the only one who's thinking like this.

Man, that light wind work was butter, strapless no less. I hate the feeling when the wind is dropping and you're looping it as best you can whilst trying to pump upwind to keep tension, then you come off foil and the board sinks praying you can keep the kite up... Interesting comparing Jake's three strut tona vs Sam's single ghost. Who had the bigger foil?
@SamLight4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! There was about 30 minutes of really borderline light wind. We were both on 10m's, similars size foils too so we were pretty evenly matched

I have just purchased a Cabrinha x-breed 5’5” and a Hi Rise foil and just getting into foiling. I am 85kg. What Cabrinha kite and size would you recommend for sailing in 10 to 15 knot winds.

Great accomplishment! Do you feel like you had the optimal gear? I am preparing for a huge down wonder some day as well, but my guess is that a foil kite would do even better. I do feel like riding a foil board strapless looks really relaxt, no burning feet I guess.
