--------------------
Example footages for the video were taken from here:
• The death rolling kite... - Original footage by Michael Krøse
• Escaped from kitesurf ... - Original footage by Daniel Liesveld
SAFETY WARNING.
This video footage was taken in light to medium wind conditions with 8m North Rebel kite. Though I successfully used the technique, described in the video, also in heavy wind conditions up to 35 knots on the same kite, please mind that the steering line pressure may vary, depending on wind speed, kite type and kite size!
Please note, that this technique is recommended for use in case of serious safety system failure. If your quick release system is not blocked, I recommend to use the QR first, and to release the kite completely in case of any danger.
Please contact me, if you have any questions, any time. info@advakite.com
I will provide you with any information I have on this topic for the sake of your safety!

Man, I can't thank you enough for making this vid. I'm a pretty new kiter and just happened across this a few weeks ago. Then a couple days ago, I survived my first death loop. I was on the water, so not as dramatic as the beach clips that you shared. Without that knowledge, I would have had to release the kite which would have made for a pretty bad day. I was shocked at how quickly the kite fell out of the sky the instant the slack steering line was pulled. Brilliant. Super happy to now have that experience under my belt. FYI I've purchased your Learning To Fly video too. Many thanks. 🙏

SURVIVING THE DEATH LOOP. EPISODE II. After just 5 days and 32K of views I've got a lot of feedback from you guys, which proves the importance of the topic. So I will definitely film another episode in January 2016 to answer your questions. Featuring: - using the described technique in stronger winds up to 35 knots; - using this technique with different sizes like 6 m; - facing the bracking of one of the steering lines scenario and more. I will have a lot of risky work to do, and I am asking you to support the filming of Ep.II with quick and easy Paypal.me service (www.paypal.me/Advakite ) using paypal account or just a plastic card. In these days of heavy financial crisys in my country, I'm spending my last to keep the project running. Spend 5-10 USD and 3 minutes of your time to spread the knowleage and to save lives! Anyway, I will ALWAYS publish safety related episodes for free. Thank you!

...oh my god. Even after more than 18 years of experience it is surprising to "learn" something anymore. It has happened never before to me, even as I experienced the hard first years without any safety, but never mind, all of the safety is worth nothing in a case you described. It can happen, we all know! So many thanks for this helpful thought, Anton. I will keep it in my mind. And it may save a life perhaps. Keep kiting and all the best to you

Every kiteboarder must watch this video several times! Three days ago my center lines got entagled with the bar, just like the first situation described in this video. My kite was in an uncontrollable loop and just because I had seen this video a few times before I knew what to do. While I was being dragged with a lot of force I managed to untangle the centerlines from the bar, although I had to use some strength. If I had not done this, I would have used the quick release (usless as this video explains) and I would have had to release the safety leash thereby loosing my kite. Thanks a lot!

This video saved me, maybe my life. In Taiwan I signed up for a lesson with an "instructor". My first question to him was this. "It seems smart to use a trainer kite before my fist lesson... blah blah." He said he can show me much more. Well, he was a bad instructor and he fell in simple maneuveres, so not great at the sport. But he never talked about the spiral. We trained in a "pool" full of rocks and thick mud. An old road was semi-demolished cutting through the middle of the "pool." 20 knots gusting to 37 knots. THANK YOU FOR TEACHING ME FOR FREE WHAT HE DIDN'T CATE TO TEACH ME. Twice i had the spiral with projecting rocks near me. His typical response.. "You pull the bar too much." I love you, man!

Thanks, very useful indeed. I had a bad situation with my foil yesterday. I fell and somehow the lines got tangled around the mast. That then ripped the entire foil and board out of the water and made my kite loop about four times before I regained control. Luck, a helmet and an impact vest saved me... I think I intuitively got control of the situation but it could have ended bad bad. Will practice this for sure now even though with a foil board flipping around you I’m not sure you’d have much of a chance

Saved my life to. Watched this video a few weeks ago help me a lot with my today kitemare. 25 kn, 7m in a serious hard pulling death loops. Pulled backwards, up side down and under water for a while. There are moments you can't breath and think, this is the end. It started after a big air jump, chicken loop hooked accidentally out, relaunching the kite, a steering line was twisted around the bar and the kite started looping. After 2 series of several loops the kite hit the water again and I succeeded to pull the other steering line to get the kite in a stable situation. Released the kite completely. Picked up by another kiter. Luckily now safe back at home, with a concussion. To all: keep enjoying this lovely sport and keep safe!
